Weirdness ... Assuming you instrument is named 'foo', what I can suggest : try to locate where your instruments files are stored like this : Make sure OOM is not running sudo updatedb locate foo Then delete the unwanted ones and then start OOM And I'll be of course curious to know where those instru...

I just imported an instrument from linuxsampler and it ended up in that very location

hi, see : ~/.config/OOMidi/instruments your custom instruments should be in there, to be deleted as you wish I coded the feature to delete instruments, but it is not yet released. if you're in a playfull mood you can build OOM from source from our development repo : git.openoctave.org/oom.git and ma...

chord-notation-driven sequencers
Hi good fellas ! I'm stuck without any MIDI keyboard for a while and have to do some harmony learning Do you guys know of a sequencer where I can input chords (with a default duration, like whole notes) by notation. I.e. type "Cm7" rather than draw each single note. Thanks for your advices

I don't know the history of the hudrogen project. Maybe this choice was made when the soft was not doing MIDI at all and a simple amplification ratio was good enough ...
