Re: nothing is working in UbuntuStudio!!!!!!

Re: nothing is working in UbuntuStudio!!!!!!

Re: An old server as a studio machine... Good idea or bad?

Check the power usage and calculate out the cost of running it on your local power costings. It'll probably be cheaper to buy and build your own machine considering the power costs.

Re: Hey from Nashville

Ardour problems - uninstall pulseaudio - check in the Jack setup that you have interface / input / output configured correctly. You should be able to see your interface in the list (click on the > box next to the interface drop down. The same goes for input and output. What are you using to input so...

Re: New to KXStudio. Problems w/Jack/no sound

Try uninstalling pulseaudio.

In the Jack settings dialogue box also make sure your have the Interface, Input Device and Output Device correctly selected - click on the button (with the > symbol) to the right of the drop down to see what interfaces are available.

I think the problem is that it is not even being connected - look at the dmesg output, it's not even assigning an address to the hardware. Could the microphone be d...

Re: ATR2500 USB audio-technica mike

Does it need a customised driver or kernel module? Any help greatly appreciated - I'm stuck on a one coconut palm island in th...
