Re: Record live screencast with n audio channels?
I haven't done this for years but when I did the only way I found to keep things sync'd was to compile ffmpeg with an additional patch from male. I wrote a post about it, though I doubt the patch still applies. But it's all I got for ya. https://mountainbikesandtrombones.blogspot.com/2014/10/my-firs...

Re: MOD Devices sponsors Linuxmusicians.com
I haven't been active here for some time unfortunately, but I do think it makes sense to keep it a community funded forum. Some company is welcome to volunteer to contribute but considering that this is mostly talking about user-centered software (rather than back-ends that corporations may build on...

Re: Any guitarists have ideas for creating this effect with plugins? Shallow Water
the infamous lush life can create these effects by turning the LFO shape to random and turning the LFO amount and frequency up. It will only work for leads though, not chords (its monophonic). http://ssj71.github.io/infamousPlugins/ ... l#lushlife

Re: [ANN] reMID v0.3 released
yeah, sorry. Not much I can do about that. If you have the source its just in the instruments directory. Or if installed elsewhere if will be in the remid.lv2 folder whereever your plugins are stored on your system (typically /usr/lib/lv2/ )milk wrote: I guess that's a Carla thing.

I wish I played bass better, but that's definitely not the point of this. Really I want tones like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAO6BgP5mqY

[ANN] reMID v0.3 released
Hey all: Even though I didn't get it done in time for the great linux audio release day earlier this week (fondly known as the big L.A.R.D.), I hope this offering of free freedom will still be accepted. I found some flaws in the voice deactivation improvements from the last release, especially if us...

Re: How to install Infamous plugin in ubutu from the source ?
lv2-dev specifically is what you are missing right now for a minimal install without GUIs.
Note that for the UI's you either need to install ntk-static (AFAIK only available in the kxstudio repos) or install ntk from source as described in the readme.

Re: [ANN] ZynAddSubFX 3.0.5 - “The Butterfly Effect” Release
We'll put some effort into bringing the zyn specific parts of the UI into the main repository at some point. The toolkit written for it though (mruby-zest) will remain an independent project as its not specifically for zyn. Its just a dependency like fftw (and we aren't going to merge that in anytim...

Re: How to install Infamous plugin in ubutu from the source ?
I'm sorry to see you having trouble. I echo their suggestion, you should not use su until the install step (or just use sudo on that step as directed by the readme). For ubuntu I'd highly recommend you use the kxstudio repositories at https://kx.studio/Repositories for all your audio software needs,...

Re: Cut Through Recordings Plug-ins available in LV2 Format
I'm a bit tired of seeing every one of these threads derailed. Reading through this thread inspired me a bit to open source at-least one of my plug-ins so I decided to open source POP Sound Shaper (one of the free plugins available on my site). If anyone is interested it's now on github here https:/...

[ANN] Infamous Plugins v0.3.0 The Never had a Summer of '69 Release
Yo: Keeping up with the cool kids, infamous plugins will be participating in quarterly releases (or at least I'll be releasing at least one of my projects each quarter). This is beneficial because it forces me to release "small" fixes regularly, rather than waiting for the "BIG" ...

[ANN] ZynAddSubFX 3.0.5 - “The Butterfly Effect” Release
ZynAddSubFX 3.0.5 - “The Butterfly Effect” Release 15 April 2019 The Zyn team is excited to announce the first of our regular quarterly releases. Our usual inclination is to try to get all the bugs fixed and do a release, but using a scheduled release model will force us to deliver the fixes that ar...
