No, sorry, this has nothing to do with Jack. But because of this bug, people might conclude that
non-daw doesn't work at all for whatever reason.

I had problems making nondaw work with older jack versions as well (haven't tried with jack2). The problem was that you couldn't see the tracks of your session (this is with Ubuntu Hardy, Jaunty). Maybe you should learn about how you install software on your Linux distribution first. Most distributions have programs which are used to install software packages via the internet. For example in ubuntu, you can use a program called 'synaptic' to do this. Software packages also have dependencies, ...

Well, I chose not to do this, because I thought most people
would have the programs installed anyway when they read the text.
Also, I would have to include many more pictures, once I started doing this
(to be consistent), and I thought this would make the site less readable...

Make sure you have "id vol" open in the amp section (when you don't use the mix outputs), and make sure
that the filters are not closed, because they can cut the sound completely.
