https://github.com/falkTX/Carla https://github.com/x42/lv2vst and https://github.com/kushview/element can run an LV2 in a VST host I knew carla & lx2vst existed. Tried compiling lv2vst while back but failed. Carla vst also failed to load in my daw, but had no time to look what cause if of failure o...

Re: B.Schaffl - New pattern-controlled MIDI amp & stretch LV2 plugin

looks very interesting. To bad it's only lv2, vst would be handy for me :-).

And what is compressing a midi signal? It that like when velocity of incoming note is 10, you get an output of 127 in most extreme form?

Re: Latency Meter doesn't work

Hm, actually I made a connection from capture_1 which is channel 1 of my interface (where I connected a microphone) to the input of the Meter channel and connected the output of Meter channel to Master input. Isn't that the way it's meant to be? Normally when checking latency. You route the latency...

AKAI MPC virtual Emulator

Hi, I saw this passing by on a dutch synthforum. An emulator of the mpc2000. Haven't played with it yet, but it has also Linux version. vst2 and standalone version (no id if the standalone supports Jack). It's pretty experimental and tested on Ubuntu 18.04 and arch Linux that author writes. Gonna pl...

Re: New Dragonfly Reverb beta release v2.9.0

Generally with the Dragonfly Room I have the feeling that the more Dry signal is more pronounced in the left channel. When using only Late Level it seems that the Reverb starts in the left channel and bounces to the right then. It's obvious when one only listens to the wet signal, but I guess that'...

Re: How long do you need to finish a song?

Finishing a song, it depends.(it's finished for me when i've made a pre-master). This weekend i did one in 2 days (on headphones), fatest ever for me :), but i first have to check it again the studio to make sure everything is good. Never mixed on headphones.. But busy with studio works like accoust...

Re: AllMusic and Discogs

i use discogs already like 15 years. For me it's a music database. I've got around 3000vinyls and in that way it's easy to know what i have and don't have. If i search something i can find it more easy in my collection via categories i made on discogs according to my collection. I'm planning also to...

Re: Bitwig 16 Track

Does that give a difference in sound? I find that simply importing the Bitwig tracks (don't know about stems) into Mixbus32C gives the overall a nice sheen. Then the 32C EQ comes into play. One reason that I do not use Bitwig for mixing is that I prefer to have the 32C EQ already present on all tra...

Re: Bitwig 16 Track

MIDI editing in Bitwig is great. Lots of MIDI filters also available. Creating in Bitwig and mixing in Mixbus32C is the best path I know. Each tool to its best. That one is still have to discover. I'm playing with bitwig since it came out, and it has became my favorite daw, especially because back ...
