Re: Room response measurement
I used the EQ settings from REW, but Sonarworks makes it MUCH better. That's why I bought it. My next PC will likely be a Mac mini M1 anyway. Does sonarworks does measurements with linux version and then does EQ correction according to the measerement? In past i used REW and i did accoustic improve...

Reverb and LFO to rotate between left/right and probably some compression to.

Re: What music did your parents play in the car at home etc?
Here it was just the radio that was playing.
there were some vinyl lp's but never saw them played. Don't think they were much interested in music.
Something else then me, with 3000 vinyls, synths, drummachines etc

Re: Are cross platform projects possible?
I use bitwig on windows laptop and my studio desktop pc runs debian. I use the projects on both devices. Have the same plugins(opensource and closed) , but only have to watch out that i use vst2 plugins in bitwig for windows so i don't have issues when opening the project on my debian studio pc. On ...

Re: Are you a 'fan' of the music you create ?
Yes and no. When i create a new track and send it to labels for releasing for sure! I woudn't send it if i don't like it. But when i create new tracks i like them more then the 'old' ones, just because om bit bored of hearing the previous ones. But then again, when i was half year back at a annivers...

Re: No GUI for ZynAddSubFX
Seems like it yes if not it, you would get message 'not found' for certain libraries. Maybe it has something to do with renoise. If you startup reaper from commandline with somekind of verbose option(if possible) do you get something when opening gui of when you add zyn plugin to a track? I don't ha...

Re: No GUI for ZynAddSubFX
on commandline you can execute ldd command. Via this command you can see the dependencies of zynaddsubfx. Probably you miss some libraries i think for the GUI. New zynaddsubfx makes use of 'zest' as i see on the website. so 'ldd zynaddsubfx.so' in case of vst will output a list of the dependencies. ...

And what is compressing a midi signal? It that like when velocity of incoming note is 10, you get an output of 127 in most extreme form?

Re: Latency Meter doesn't work
Hm, actually I made a connection from capture_1 which is channel 1 of my interface (where I connected a microphone) to the input of the Meter channel and connected the output of Meter channel to Master input. Isn't that the way it's meant to be? Normally when checking latency. You route the latency...
