Re: Thank-a-developer day
When we are forced to pay. We usually just do it. But when we get freedom, we don't know how to choose. Its in our attitude to not pay for something with our free will. We are like robots. Microsoft and appel they all used business strategies to teach users to buy closed source software. Open sourc...

Re: GRANULIZER 2 is going to have linux version
Hi Kott, this is what I get: carla-single Granulizer\ 2.so ['/usr/lib/carla/carla-bridge-native', 'internal', '(none)', 'Granulizer 2.so', '0'] libjack.so.0 loaded successfully! Plugin failed to load, error was: Invalid internal plugin Brian Hi, You missed the vst argument. Or even better to execut...

Re: GRANULIZER 2 is going to have linux version
I see that Granulizer only works with Bitwig and Reaper. In fact, I tried it with Qtractor, Tracktion and Carla, but all of these gave a "plugin error." I remember having a similar problem with Virtual Analog and they were able to fix the error quickly. I wonder if the same can be done with Granuli...

Re: Thank-a-developer day
A very special thanks to you too, folderol! Yoshimi is an amazing instrument, an almost impossible act to follow. I wish I had a fraction of the talent that you and the others working on the project have. Maybe in another life..! :) (Time shortage is always a limitation!) Linux audio wouldn't be the...

Re: mod wheel ignored by plugins?
Just a thought.. if you're using Carla as your plug-in host, you will need to select the "send CC control" (I think that's what it says) option. Otherwise you won't have complete midi control. It's in the Carla GUI window of the plug-in (not the native synth GUI window). The Mod Wheel should be CC01...

Re: [ANN] Qtractor 0.9.13 - A QStuff* Spring'20 Release batch #3
I've been using Qtractor a lot lately. I'm really happy with how fast and lightweight it is (even on 32-bit machines!).
Thanks for this new release rncbc!

LAC-2020?
Hi everyone,
I haven't found any info yet regarding LAC for 2020. Does anyone know where/when it will be?
Thanks!

Re: Burnout
Thanks to everyone for the posts. I agree that burnout is an important subject in a lot of fields, and computing is no exception! When you think of the amount of concentration and precision that it requires (all it takes is a comma or letter or digit out of place and all goes haywire!), it's importa...
