When I scan my sample folder, I get a massive memory usage, until it crashes.

Re: MOTU 828 (2024)

Cuemix works for me on my non-music computer... my music laptop is down, unfortunately... will the program detect 828 ES ? CueMix 5 is only for the UltraLite-mk5 and the new 828. The 828es has a built-in webapp which is already accessible on Linux via the ethernet connection - the device just needs...

It's not web based ?

It could be, not sure yet. There's no ethernet port like with the AVB models, so if there is a web interface, it's got to be tunneled over USB somehow.

Ah yes I get it, no AVB then no ethernet port

Haven't tried any of the mixer functionality yet. Routing and whatnot seems to only be possible via the mac/win app, and mine has only been plugged into Linux systems so far.

Re: Ultralite AVB

On my side Motu 828 ES, working on class compliant mode, with last firmware from AudioNarwhal, I mean no audio trouble and when channel hoping occurs, just running the small piece of program he posted there, no big deal.

Re: Zoom recorders on Linux

@stanlea Just bought a H1N. When I plug the usb cable it doesn't even show the connection menu, just like the was no signal coming through the cable. Maybe my cables are wrong, but they are just vanilla USB cables. It looks like a zoom issue, not a Linux issue, as it's the same linking to a windows...
