Re: Ultralite AVB
Hi, MOTU 1248 user here with the channel hopping problem. I'm so glad I've finally found an appropriate thread for this issue but disappointed that it seems to be a long running problem! I've tried KDE Neon, Neon + KXStudio Repos, Ubuntu 18.10, Ubuntu Studio 18.10, all to no avail. Did you try the ...

Re: Ultralite AVB
Stanlea, the channel hopping seems to be the only issue. Audio plays cleanly through some channel for some time (sometimes seconds, sometimes minutes), and then hops over to a different one. Sometimes that hopping takes a few seconds, during which audio fades crunchily on the channel it's leaving, ...

Re: vember audio surge is now opensource
I remember the first time I heard it; in its time it was certainly one of the best synths on the software side. I hope progresses will be made, but the GPL build is already a pleasure for the ears.

Pemberley, is the channel problem the only problem you have ? How about the stuttering bug ?

Can you check the availability of presets ? On my side, I can load almost any of them at first time, but after that, a second preset will not load.

Re: RaffoSynth lv2
Thanks Baggypants, it builds well (asm version) with the needed libraries (nothing out of the depos). A small GUI bug : if you set oscillators off, you can't reverse to on. Not a big deal, just reload Raffo. Sound seems promising.

Re: Audio jumping between channels on a MOTU 16A
How many channels did you try to record simultaneously ? Did you had any issues with sound (glitches, saturation, numerous xruns,...) ? I am in the process of buying a new card but I really don't know what to think of the MOTUs AVB range. I am considering a 828es.

What is unclear for me is the availability of this patch, as Kernel 5.0 is not ready yet. Could this patch be applied on actual kernels ?

Did you try to settle things in the software interface ? I think that you can plus your 16A as an ethernet device to your router, then find is ip, log in and watch the settings.

Re: SFZ Player for Linux
Redux can handle sfz but only if they fit in memory, that means no disk streaming, just small sfz banks.
