Re: Ultralite AVB

Thanks for these informations. On my side I am stuck with usb at 48khz and 5,3s that is fine enough for my needs, of course dealing with the problems mentionned earlier.

Re: Ultralite AVB

@supereb : some questions about this AVB driver :
- settings (frequency, frames,...)
- latency ?
- did you try some recording ?
- do you use midi ?

Re: LV2: BSEQuencer

Late answer, sorry. After more testing : I can indeed see the grid, but the contrast is a bit low in the background, maybe my laptop screen. As for the synced transport, I had success by wiring a midi input to the sequencer, and then sending a midi note. But in Carla, just hitting the play button ja...

Re: Percussion Synthesizer

Built ok on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with KXrepos. Nice work on Geonkcik, althought I suck at making good sounds with oscillators.

Re: LV2: BSEQuencer

I tried it, and it could really rock, because the controls provided are very fun. But I couldn't sync transport from host (tried Carla, Qtractor, Ardour), and the gui don't show the grid on my screen.

Re: Ultralite AVB

I'm not at all familiar with patching kernel, so can someone explain what I can expect from the patches provided : - enhance class compliant mode with more stable channels ? - change from class compliant to another mode (but which one ? AVB ?) ? See Drumfix's two posts on page 12 of this thread. It...

Re: Ultralite AVB

On my side I have a 828ES (not preES, meaning I have 2 preamps, not 8). Actually I run it as Class Compliant device, with the oldest BIOS I could find, and I have the 2 (not so big) well known issues : channel hoping and "stuttering effect". Generally a reboot of the unit throught the web ...
