Re: repositories kubuntu 18.04 ready?
they are yes. I have 18.04 running on my own PC (together with 14.04 when I need stuff that actually works.. ) ah great. :) It is quite early to get on 18.04 though. But oh well, I guess you know that. yeah, just a separate testing install at the moment. since beta 2 was released it seems pre...

Re: kxstudio-default-settings for ubuntustudio 15.10?
you don't have to install anything you don't want to. but I recommend it. yeah i realise you don't HAVE to. ;) my question really was will it usefully change any settings that aren't already set sensibly in ubuntustudio 15.10. anyway i downloaded the .deb and looked in it to answer for myself and f...

Re: Package "muse" for Ubuntu 15.10 Wily Werewolf
oh, and what i mean about the desktop meta is not that it doesn't work, but that i haven't tested it cause i don't use it.
i presume it might not be much use on kubuntu now anyway, even if someone did want to use it, with plasma5 being in the last couple of releases?

Re: Package "muse" for Ubuntu 15.10 Wily Werewolf
i should add, i thought i might've lost a few kx packages in the upgrade to 15.10, so having rejigged the sources as advised above it's me trying to do an apt-get install kxstudio-meta-audio that's resulting in the error: The following packages have unmet dependencies. kxstudio-meta-audio : Depends:...

hmm, still happening this morn.
although i followed the steps above maybe i got my apt sources into some weird state in the changeover, what would be the quickest way to revert everything to standard?

Re: Package "muse" for Ubuntu 15.10 Wily Werewolf
For those that care, the KX repos are officially ready for Debian Testing and Ubuntu 15.10. For those running these distros you can do: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install kxstudio-repos kxstudio-repos-gcc5 sudo apt-get update # updating all packages should now work, ie: sudo apt-get dist-upgr...

Re: *buntu 14.10 - kxstudio repository support
thanks falktx i'll let you know if any probs. and yes, i know what i'm doing ;) aside from that, staying on lts is a pita if you have a system that's used for much other than music (which kxstudio keeps nicely up to date) since so many apps end up in hoplessly outdated versions, plus support for new...
