Re: Ubuntustudio 19.04 Jack Gui with new functionality
Ah yes, I did notice both Carla and Patchage sometimes loose track of what's there, especially if things go away.

Re: Ubuntustudio 19.04 Jack Gui with new functionality
Yes, the ppa contains Carla, but you need to do 'sudo apt install carla'. As for the graph you posted. On my laptop, the PCH device is the onboard sound. When plug in my X32 it adds this to the graph: X32_graph.png Is it possible the audio ports are off the Patchage display area? i.e. the scroll bar...

Re: Ubuntustudio 19.04 Jack Gui with new functionality
There is a bug report on it: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntustudio ... ug/1826413
Just curious, when you plug in the Focusrite, how does it show up in Carla or Patchage?
Two sources, two sinks? Pulse?
The X32 just shows up as 32 sources/sinks when I plug it in.

Re: Ubuntustudio 19.04 Jack Gui with new functionality
My thoughts about 1804 and the back ports: - If you use something other than the on board sound, for example a usb mixer (I've successfully used an X32 via usb with 32 in/ 32 out) or firewire device (I have an Audiofire12 on my desktop, but I force it to use ffado, but it does work with ALSA/JACK as...

Re: Ubuntustudio 19.04 Jack Gui with new functionality
I have been using UBS Controls for a few days on two different installs of UBS 18.04. What I've noticed on both is that UBS Controls will not retain the settings I choose. (the check boxes for auto start JACK, bridging, etc.) One pc is a laptop, the other is a desktop. On both PC's I can now not get...

Re: Building Claf with the EQ plugins
So, ok, added them to synaptic.
When I go to install calf-git it says it removes calf-plugins (cool) and ubuntustudio-audio-plugins (what am I loosing here?).

Building Claf with the EQ plugins
I have succeeded in building the Calf 19 from git. UBStudio 12.04
But when I launch calfjackrack it does not show eq5, 8, & 12 as available.
Any ideas as to what went wrong?
Regards,
Mac
