Re: Upmix From 2-Channel Input and Output 3-Channels (Upmix)
But which plugin will allow me to do that in Carla? How do I send a mono signal from a stereo source to the center channel and leave only the left and right channel sent to the respective outputs? In other words, how do I make it so that I pan from the left speaker to the center speaker and right sp...

Upmix From 2-Channel Input and Output 3-Channels (Upmix)
I need a plugin that can upmix stereo sources to 3-channel output. For example, I want to send a summed output to the center channel. It's kind of similar to Dolby Surround by taking a 2-channel source and send the dialog to the center channel. Is there a plugin that allows me to do that? Basically,...

IAMF aims to be an open-source alternative to Dolby Atmos
I came across an article that anyone who are into Linux should be interested in. https://www.thepoint.online/samsung-google-iamf-dolby-atmos-alternative/ I was searching for an open source alternative to Dolby Atmos and DTS:X but so far, there is none until Samsung and Google is working in the new f...

I never thought about using NRPNs. I wonder if I can do that with MuSE Sequencer.

Re: MIDI 2.0 Driver Support Coming With Linux 6.5
Thanks. I won't hold my breath on it, now that Linux 6.5 is released to the public with support for MIDI 2.0. And probably Pipewire might need to support MIDI 2.0 as well. Would be nice, though. I would love to have expressive control over the filters, especially when it comes to using a band-pass f...

Re: Ultralite AVB
Gentlemen, Has anyone tried writing drivers for MOTU Ultralite-MK5 on Windows 11, but without that bouncing ball, when screen goes to "sleep" I want black screen, but instead I got eternal bouncing ball. Can someone help me with that? That refresh state on display makes my eyes dizzy. It ...

Re: MIDI 2.0 Driver Support Coming With Linux 6.5
That made me wonder if developers of ZynAddSubFX, Yoshimi, and MuSE Sequencer will have support for MIDI 2.0 once Linux kernel 6.5 releases. How exciting.

Running reaper from the terminal gives no clues, just segfault.
Can you at least please try 0.3.69 before reporting the bug to the issue tracker?

YouTube Video: Mixing in ATMOS Is Insane!
I came across a video about mixing in Atmos. It seems like to me I will need to have at least an audio interface capable of 10 channels minimum: 2 front speakers, 1 center speaker, 1 subwoofer, 2 rear surround speakers, and 4 top speakers. Of course, I could go with two top speakers but I would go w...

And I did not read a post from PeterW. My bad as well. In the future, copy the URL of my thread and create a new thread based on mine so you won't get it mixed up with the dates.

Re: Pipewire and GUI
My problem is resolved months ago, but thank you. In order to get 5.1 surround sound for Proton gaming, before Pipewire developers fixed the issue in Wireplumber 0.4.9, I had to uninstall Pipewire-Pulse and replace it with PulseAudio and PulseAudio-Jack in order to get 5.1 surround sound. But now th...

Reverse MIDI part similar to Fugue Machine/Bitwig's MIDI reverse feature
Is there a way to reverse MIDI notes as shown in the video for the MusE Sequencer? I could not find the function in either the Function and Scripts menu.

I used Muse4 to compose a demo inspired by the Fireworks soundtrack for TRON: Legacy.

And man I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for the MIDI sequencer. Hopefully I should get it in an official Arch repository.
