guitarix = 0.35.0
I can wait for 0.35.1 update from Fedora. Having the buttons with darker bg really improves visuals in terms of pragmatics and aesthetics. I only use my preset bank, but once it gets more categorized the darker background there will be preferable.
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Guitarix UI on Fedora: Difficult to see/read
Well, installing clearlooks gtk2 theme helped with the buttons: they are now dark. The preset area background is still white on non-selected lines, but having the buttons dark helps visually.

Guitarix UI on Fedora: Difficult to see/read
Hello, I've installed Guitarix on my Fedora 24 system. The portion of ui where one selects presets, as well as pool and order buttons, etc., has a white background with extremely dimmed font. It is near impossible to read. All pics I've seen of these areas are dark. I'm not at home, so don't have a ...

Re: jack latency compensation
Hello, I have jack 1.9.8-3 installed but am only able to find jdelay. I tried jack_iodelay in terminal but got invalid command? How do I obtain jack_iodelay? Shouldn't it be in my jack version. Also, I think I'm using jdelay incorrectly, mayne not. I hard connect one output to line input on interfa...

Re: How To Determine Soundcards Bit Depth-- 24 or 16
jackd --version jackdmp 1.9.x is jack2 jackd 0.xxx.x is jack1 . Thanks for the tip. It is a interesting reading anyway. Cheers, Pablo Yeah, I saw Jack 1.9.8 and assumed "There's a 1, it must be Jack1". I'm learning that with Linux it's best not to assume anything, which is a good lesson t...

Re: How To Determine Soundcards Bit Depth-- 24 or 16
Also, I noticed I'm using jack 1. Any good reason to change to jack2? I'm using Fedora's stock install, and so far, jack1 seems to be doing the job---a few crashes every now and again, but that is probably more user error than anything. Nevermind that question. I guess it is jack2 that I have insta...

Re: How To Determine Soundcards Bit Depth-- 24 or 16
Thanks, Gentlemen, I appreciate the responses. @ Capoeira--- I changed jack message to verbose and was able to see the same info--24bit little-endian. Exactly what Iwas looking for, so thanks again. Also, I noticed I'm using jack 1. Any good reason to change to jack2? I'm using Fedora's stock instal...

How To Determine Soundcards Bit Depth-- 24 or 16
Hello, I recently made the transition to Linux (Fedora 16) for audio. I'm using a Lexicon Omega and everything is going well. I am able to record in Ardour without latency issues. Jack recognizes my interface. The one thing I'm not sure how to do is to verify that my interface is set to 24-bit or to...
