Debian Squeeze with penqutronix rt-kernel http://pengutronix.de/software/linux-rt/debian_en.html no fancy new stuff though... install from ground up... no pulseaudio, xfce-desktop, remember to add yourself to audio group(if not automatic...) I had that conf running nicely, but switched to archlinux ...
