Ardour5 can't create new session
Hi. I have a fresh installation of Ardour 5 in Manjaro + KX Studio Tools, but when I try to create a new file or open an old one I get a series of errors related to the locked memory and some realtime setup issues... I already lookup for some more info about how to edit /etc/security/limits.conf or ...

Re: Fedora Support
A lot of people have been telling me, that I should go for Arch Linux instead of Fedora. So i'm thinking to try Manjaro the next weekend, and see what happens.

Fedora Support
Hi! I have been using Elementary OS (Ubuntu 12.04 & 14.04) + KXStudio for some time, and generally it works great :D Installing the KXStudio repos and packages was very simple, and almost everything was working smooth, fast and nice (better than in Ubuntu, Linux Mint or Debian) until relatively ...

Ardour, How to normalize a stereo track separately?
Hello I wonder if it is possible to normalize the two channels of a stereo track separately in Ardour. In Audacity is very easy to do this, but in Ardour I must convert tracks to mono, normalize and then join them to a stereo track again... :? There most be another way to do it properly. Thank you v...

Configure audio connections to occur automatically
Hello. I hope you can understand my problem, I think my English is not perfect :( I wonder if it's possible to configure Catia (or other instance) for some audio outputs to automatically connect to more than two "main" channels. I have four monitors (speakers) and a subwoofer, and regularl...

Ardour crashes when some LV2 effect is loaded
Hi. I'm using KXStudio over Elementary OS Luna. I have been trying to use LV2 effects as I used to do (al least the last week), but after some updates it just stop working properly. Every time I load an LV2 effect Adrour (or any other DAW, but in Calf Rack or Lv2rack it works fine), crashes with thi...

Re: Ardour freezes in export
Thank you very much. At this time it seems that the second option (switch to Dummy), is what worked to solve the problem. I really hope they can fix this problem at some updating, it will be very uncomfortable having to do this every time I want to export a file. Will it be a problem Jack2 of KXStud...

Re: KXStudio future plans
Of course I understand that it is a very large software list, but it is only a suggestion (which arises from seeing a hole in the Linux multimedia distros) and they can be long-term plans . Most this softwware do things that you can't do with any other software currently included in KXStudio. And I ...

Ardour freezes in export [SEMI-SOLVED]
Hello Every time that I try to export an audio file (WAV, FLAC, OGG, etc), Ardour sort of freezes, and I get a audio file with just a few bytes... I tested without any effects, and in different sessions (files), but It just won't export nothing. It seems to be an problem with Jack, because when the ...
