Re: Remove Automation

So do I just change the line:

Code: Select all

option ( ENABLE_LASH         "Enable LASH Audio Session Handler (or LADISH compatibility layer)"     ON)

to OFF in CMakeLists.txt and compile again?

Re: Remove Automation

Thanks, Tim!

I compiled the new version from master (3.1) and indeed, I could remove automation as you described, and all seems to be working well.

The only thing I noticed was that starting MusE automatically started a ladish session... Is that normal?

Re: Remove Automation

Thanks Tim for the great support (as always). One way to do this is as follows: Open each midi part in the Piano Roll Editor or Drum Editor and click the 'Ctrl' button and add the desired controller graph to be viewed, in this case probably the one desired is labelled "7 MainVolume". Then ...

Remove Automation

I could not find this in the manual... I've downloaded a MIDI file that came with some volume automation that I want to remove. How would I do that? (I'm on 3.0.2, compiled from source.)

Re: Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 Doesn't work

It should not be hard to make it work... The This sound device does not have any controls. message is normal, BTW. The first thing I'd try is to disconnect the DAC100 and try again. If no sound, in alsamxier check for the "master" channel. (Try F6 and then choose DEFAULT, no the 2i4.) Try ...

As Michael said, you just need to subscribe to the thread. It seems you would like to automatically be subscribed to your own threads, which makes sense, but at least you can always do it yourself.

x42 meter collection: http://x42-plugins.com/x42/x42-meters

Available in Debian standard repositories or KXStudio (package x42-plugins). These are really great.

Re: Trying to cover Vangelis Alpha

I found a midi file. I will see if I can send it to you, through this forum. The midi file did confuse me at first, at least some of it, but its great if you like me don't have perfect pitch, and need sheet music or a midi file to find the notes. There is some in the midi file, of which I am 99% su...

Re: Trying to cover Vangelis Alpha

Off-topic: The theme from [the original] "Cosmos" [TV show]! I did not know it was by Vangelis. It does bring some good memories of watching it with my father and brother, many years ago... I really like this theme!

If you don't mind sharing the MIDI, I'd really like it. :-)

I can't help you, but you might help from the developers if you post it in the drumgizmo section of the forum (a subforum of "Samplers and Samples").

Re: DAW vs DAW

I did not watch the videos yet, but here two comments on "DAWs not sounding the same" that I want to do, straight from the top of my head. I think the fundamentals of recording audio streams to disk are not gonna produce audible differences if properly implemented. [snip] FWIW, I've watch...

That's weird. It seems something went wrong. You could try:

Code: Select all

dpkg --configure -a

and maybe

Code: Select all

apt -f install

Then check again.
