Re: [SOLVED] Disable pulseaudio Jack source but keep Sink running.
Hi retnev, I just read through this thread. Very interesting. I have already posted about no sound in browsers even with jack pulse bridge. No answer, yet. I like patchage as well and I use cadence. It has worked for me well until the past month. Would you please let me know what the exact forum was...

Re: Sudden loss of sound from browser.
Hello elsmandino, Would you kindly be able to explain how you got things back, that is getting sound out of your browsers again? I have lost that about 3 weeks ago and I had no cats jumping on my keyboard. :D I use Cadence and Catia as well in linuxmint with kxstudio repos. Some updates about 3 week...

cadence pulsebridge not working
Hello Everyone, I can no longer get the cadence bridges to work as they did before. I was able to start up cadence for years and if I wanted sound in firefox, I would start the pulseaudio bridge and it would work. Last week it stopped working, then I did a few things that I do not remember, then it ...

Re: Need help setting up a live show..
Hello, I have used jitsi meet and with that you can just email a link as well so no one has to sign up. It was very easy. My 86 year old Mom could do it. It looks like it may even be improved since I used it about a year ago. Here is a link about it: https://jitsi.org/jitsi-meet/ . Maybe you can do ...

Re: TC Electronics Impact Twin
Hello, Thanks for the info. Good to know. I prefer firewire to usb and still happily use my firewire fca202 connected to my behringer x1622 usb xenyx mixer with the new firewire stack. I have found that the old ffado and jack no longer work with my equipment. I am glad of the new change with firewir...

[SOLVED] Re: Updated to 4.4.0-109-generic looking for low-latency kernel
Hello Everyone,
I found the 4.4.0-109-low-latency kernel. Installed it and so far so good. Found it by doing the apt cache search option
in a terminal. It installed fine and now I am checking it out. So far, so good. Marking this as solved.
Thanks,
aicram

Updated to 4.4.0-109-generic looking for low-latency kernel
Hi Everyone, Because of all the meltdown spectre info I updated to the 4.4.0-109-generic kernel. I have amd cpu so do not know if it was crucial to do so. I always used low-latency and have not found a low-latency in this kernel version. Will there be one? I use linuxmint 17.3 with the kxstudio repo...

Re: Scarlet 2i4 USB Audio Not Detected at Startup
Hello, I agree with tseaver's advice. To add to it, maybe using falkTX's wonderful tool cadence could help you with this. Once you have everything needed installed, jack working correctly and cadence configured the bridges offered in cadence are automatic for me. I use alsa loop jack, but there are ...

Re: Recording my Roland TD-11 drums in Linux Mint 18.2
Hello, I am not very familiar with pulse audio, however, maybe learning how to use jack and setting that up could help you. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge here can help you. I use jack audio that I set up with the excellent cadence. Thanks to Falktx for his wonderful programs. You can make a...
