Ops!
It seems that loging in on a xfce session, not xubuntu session, the setup and install process is working... now installing kxstudio-desktop-xfce
Also in xubuntu session the kxstudio menu don't work properly, but it does in xfce session.

Ok, thanks, but I'm a kind of ignorant... Yes, in KXStudio JACK is used as "audio master", and all other audio apps will output to it. Once JACK is configured properly (use 'Cadence'), you'll then have sound in all apps output to the right place. I know this, but what must I configure in C...

Usb speakers
It has priority 75 i suppose, so what should i do to give it like 81? I think this will do the trick: Edit /etc/default/rtirq and change the order of "snd" and "usb" in RTIRQ_NAME_LIST, so that usb audio devices have greater priority than pci audio devices. Hello all, My laptop ...

Why VLC Media Player, e.g.., can play midi files on Windows and not in Linux? Is it?In case that someone wants only hear a .mid file, is it possible to do this just on a media player (as on Windows with Windows media player)?
