Re: Behringer UMX610 - Does it work on Linux? Or Oxygen 61?
I'm planning to buy a fully assignable midi controller for the purpose of controlling Zyn while recording midi events into Rosegarden. I do read that the M-Audio Oxygen 25 is "fully assignable". Does that mean I can assign (ie., edit on the hardware unit itself without mucking around with...

maghoxfr: http://rapidshare.com/#!download|478tl|199361902|How_To_Mix_A_Pop_Song_From_Scratch_-_Ver_2.0.rar|404 There are a lot of articles around with the same title and from the same author but all of those are not complete. The PDF in the above link does contain the complete article. Best, Jerem...

Re: The Infinite Repeat - Money or Love (DJ AutoStatic Remix)
Yeah, amsynth is great, I love yoshimi and phasex but find them hard to use, so I kind of stick to the presets and tweak them a bit. Amsynth has a great GUI, and is very straightforward. I'm going to look for that article Autostatic, it must be really good.

You can't imagine how much it helps this video, it opens possibilities I didn't consider. I can see, also, the amount of work you put into that, I mean the conection window in jack was insane! but I guess that's why it sounds so good ;) Keep it up mate, your work is very much apretiated over here! Re: I need lists. Hardware for Ubuntu, Jack and Bristol.
I use Bristol and works fine with my M-Audio oxygen 61. That's all I can say, I have an alesis multimix 4 usb but I don't recommend it, even though it works fine with ubuntu, it's not a good audio interface. Here's a list that could be useful, I know there's a couple more but I don0t have my bookmar...

I can't run the script, I've read all this thread but didn't find the solution. I'm not sure what to do with all the content of https://realtimeconfigquickscan.googlecode.com/hg/ . I only copied the "realTimeConfigQuickScan.pl" on a text and made it executable. But I get the following erro...

Tweaks on studio distributions
I have this doubt. What are the tweaks that make one studio distro different from other? I'm not considering the software installed, just system tweaks, file modifications etc, that kind of thing. Is there a place that I can read about that? I can't find the specific modifications they do to the ori...

Re: The Infinite Repeat - Money or Love (DJ AutoStatic Remix)
It sounds really good. I love all the synths you put in there, the layering is really cool. You were right, it's a nice song that deserved to be remixed.
Thanks for sharing your workflow, I really appretiate it, because I'm still looking for one that suits me!
