Re: Which windows drum software runs well under wine?
Mixbus does not support Midi, since it will not add Ardour 3.0 features until it's 3.0 release, which might be a while....

Re: List of Win32 VSTs that work with Ardour3
The only reason it is important to me for Linux Audio to support my VST-VSTi's is simple, the $$$$ invested! :) Tho the Linux effects developers, both free and those that charge, are doing a great job, after years of trying out Linux for audio in my studio there is still nothing that matches what I ...

Re: The Open Source Musician Podcast is back!!!
Very Cool! One problem, as I was going thru the back-long I noticed that the episodes jump from Episode 28 at the end of Dec 2009 to Episode40 in May 2010....am I missing something? PS - I just looked at the RSS feed and it has all the shows in order, so I will start on that feed. No matter, i...

Re: AVlinux with 64cpu and 8G ram?
I should also be clear that AV Linux 6.0 is the last release of AV Linux and is tech-supported for a year, it is complete enough for most users and should be viable depending on your workflow for quite some time. AV Linux has a well tested collection of software but is not being actively maintained...

Nothing personal, but I think this comment applies to yours more than l0wt3ch we think. The character that is chosen for yours looks to middle school to us, where as the last ones by l0wt3ch looks more "solid"...more "pro"...TheSafePlaces wrote:Erm, I still find the logos so far pretty immature,

Just like a windblows/hac machine, if it works & is not giving you any problems, leave it alone I say. I just started using win7 6 months ago from xp pro x32. I just wanted the x64 version to use all my memory. Now that AVLinux6 and Mixbus is playing well on this system, I am now dual boot....ag...

Hello from the Beautiful SE Ohio - NE WV border!
I have been reading thru the forums for about a month now, and finally decided to join up. The Hydrogen contest looks interesting, and there seems to be a lot of helpful folks around here. :D Anyway, a little about myself....Pro drummer until 7 years ago when the knee joints could no take it any mor...
