Hi,
I've just noticed that new firmware comes with AVB profile activated by default so there is no need to buy a license for AVB anymore. See https://kb.netgear.com/000065873/M4250L ... -13-0-4-17

Re: Using DAW for real time live performance feasible?
With these hw specs you should be fine, so main concern I think can be wine stuff. You need to be prepared, it will crash at the worst time. Set up a simple button in bitwig which restarts plugins and map that to some midi button or prepare some other strategies for handling that

Re: How Start an Open Source project to create a replacement for RME Totalmix fx
Thanks Be. for your effort. RME has great hardware and to get more out of it on linux would be awesome! Somehow I always thought that reverb and echo were done on fpga but as you said it is written in the manual that it is not so I've learned something new :) I agree that there is no point in implem...

Re: Modern DSP audio interface for Linux?
Hi, For the stability I would recommend RME (Babyface Pro FS for example) but the DSP of it is not controllable from Linux but recently it at least became possible to use it's internal mixer (https://github.com/MrBollie/bbfpromix). There are many great options for effects/processing without internal...

Re: Jam over internet
No latency issues was present here. For me it was overall around 15-20ms. I've tried jamulus with drums at the studio but there is only mobile lte internet there and ping jumps up and down. So it was quite difficult with dropouts and 60ms latency... Having better internet would be fine playing with ...

Re: jamtaba on avlinux - Bitwig
Hello,
Jamtaba is a standalone application. I'm developing a little Linux native vst3 plugin abNinjam. Maybe it could meet your needs.

Re: abNinjam
The mix levels seem great with abNinjam, no problem there. My expectation was that names/audio channels would be displayed and a gain slider/knob. There doesn't really to be a UI meter element for everyone's signal, just a knob. I have found it necessary to be able to control other player's signal,...
