Re: Rated Blue - "Turnabout" (2020 REMIXES)

Thanks milo!

I appreciate the time and listen! Yes it's a double-edged sword since Youtube/MySpace (and many more since) made it so everyone and anyone is a published content creator.. Often sobering and humbling when you get a worldwide audience and the sound of crickets at the same time..

Re: Installing avlinux 2020.05.10

Hi, I also answered on the Ardour forum, sorry it took a few days to see and respond.. Yes NVMe support is unfortunately not very complete or fully reliable in Systemback yet, I have varying reports of it working as expected and other reports that it doesn't work. I unfortunately don't have any NVMe...

Re: Call of the 80s

Hi! Bruh!! Shred much!!?? Great guitar work and arrangement of the whole song! I really should be much more 'into' this genre... it was in it's heyday right when I was a teenager becoming interested in music but I just never could get into it... However now that much water has gone under the bridge ...

Re: Censorship on linuxmusicians.com?

I've been posting here for years, and am responsible for "getting away with" posting some of the most notoriously riot-inducing messages. So, I can give some advice for how to ensure you don't get soiled when you're tossing crap at the fan. You can usually squeak by if you think of some witty, humo...

Rated Blue - "Turnabout" (2020 REMIXES)

Hi! We did an album in 2016 called "Turnabout", the writing at the time was quite inspired and we tracked it very quickly and then (stupidly) released it the week of Christmas.. In hindsight despite the inspired songs the poor release time was only one of multiple issues, I still had much to learn a...

Re: Censorship on linuxmusicians.com?

Hi, Is it explicitly stated anywhere on the forum rules at registration that this forum is "censorship free"? Forums are moderated and administrated for the very fact that information needs to be sorted, evaluated, organized (and yes removed) at times so there will always be an authoritarian structu...

Re: Rated Blue "JOY" Album Released!

I've been away from here for a bit but I've streamed JOY repeatedly, and I love it more each listen. It's a special thing when enjoyment of the music as a listener transcends the Linux aspect and it's just plain good music . The grooves are excellent (according to the way my head is involuntarily b...

Re: Soul - EBM, Techno, New Beat

Hi, Sounddrop, Distrokid and CD Baby all can get your stuff on Spotify/Apple/Google et all for a very modest fee.. As far as the "sameness" I don't know if that's really an issue outside of the artists mind any more. I wouldn't even bat an eye if you put out an album with various electronic based st...

Re: Soul - EBM, Techno, New Beat

Hi lilith! I agree, a great mix! Lol, I admire your restraint with panning, I will say in headphones I would like to hear an experimental panning remix but I have some sort of panning illness. But this sounds great, keeps interest and has a great flow to it! You should consider doing a "best of" alb...

Hi!

Really liked this one, develops very nicely and I liked the acoustic guitar breakdown in the middle section, great ambient reverbs and the bass also had a great tone.. Great stuff!
