Hammond Fried Eggs (feat. Dave Williams)

Hi folks! I've been AWOL for a bit and looks like y'all have been busy, I have a lot of catching up to do! Here's something I finished last week, a funky soul organ instrumental written years ago with Booker T & the MG's in mind... My friends Dave Williams and Peter Cox stepped in and knocked it out...

Re: Guitarix Demo

Hi Rodney!

Sorry almost missed this, have been busy offline for the past 6 weeks

Great examples, The clean shimmer delay tone sounds huge! The sustain on the high gain tone is really cool too!

Re: JJazzLab 2.2 and new demo

@GMaq In general the easier it is for users to access my app, the happier I am  So if AV Linux can help, this sounds interesting. The issue I have is I don't have expertise to do this. I guess I could manage it technically if I'd take time, but I also have 100's of other things to do to impro...

Re: JJazzLab 2.2 and new demo

Wow! That is a great demo! I've never used software like this but I've downloaded and hope to take a good in-depth look as soon as my work sched slows down.. How would you feel about having it distributed ready to click and use on an AV Linux ISO? Would there be any licensing restrictions that would...

Re: more 'production' work: Chill-J

Hi! Nice job on the production! This is a nice close your eyes and space out tune for sure! When I hear the wind noises on the intro I was like..." oh man where is this going..?" and then when that piano came in it was magic, loved the simple understated melody of the piano and the soft attack on th...

Re: Rated Blue "JOY" Album Released!

forestandgarden Nachei Thanks so much for such in-depth listening and comments! Saying I appreciate it is an understatement.. For anyone to even ponder the relationship of the songs to each other or to see the purpose of the song order is a tremendous gift to me! Indeed there was much thought put i...

Thanks!

Actually I didn't have any synths on this, just layers of guitar and ebow guitar. It does sound very synth-y though, doesn't it?
Lol, yes! Well color me fooled!

Re: Manouri

Hi, I do like the vibe of this one and it opens in a very interesting and appealing way, I did feel that when the guitar came in it became a little rhythmically awkward like something in the drum track became a little out of sync or something...? I liked the synth parts and I liked what you were doi...

Hi! Beautiful work Alan! I also have iLoud Micros for my house/dev computer and they are phenomenal for the money, much better than many other larger speakers (looking at you M-Audio) that purport to be pro monitors. You lyrics and singing are great as always, you have a gift on both fronts. A great...

Re: Videos from the tracks

Hi! Rainmak3r Sorry haven't had a lot of spare time to watch all of the videos, I liked Out of the Void so far though! For any who may be interested here's a video comparing the various FOSS NLE's: https://youtu.be/edQIda8pwxY I 100% disagree with his assessment of Cinelerra-GG, It's the only NLE I ...

Re: Moderation on linuxmusicians.com?

many music programs have their own forum, so would it be forbidden to talk about them here? That's something to consider. It's hard for the single-developer apps, such as BackupBand (https://sourceforge.net/projects/backupband/files) to compete with the more established, and usually commercial bran...
