Hi,

I also got your mail.
pkg-config is a program that helps compilation. You can install it in Ubuntu like this (I hope):
https://installati.one/install-pkg-config-ubuntu-20-04/

I also see from your log that you will need to install jack2 and jack2-devel.

Re: Looking for a working stand alone Sequencer

The best solution I have found until today is Patroneo, but it seems that Patroneo can't be tansport master under jack and synchronize the midi clock among multiple synths. The timing is always off. Patroneo Author here. I am unware of this. In my tests Patroneo is used as jack transport master and...

Re: Musio/Cinesamples for Linux?

I would like commercial instruments.

However, I wonder about the tech. Are they not dependent on the whole Kontakt system?

Re: southwest Germany/eastern France/Luxemburg Meeting

I can help you set up your meeting, if you like. I'm organizing the Open Source Audio Meeting Cologne (https://osamc.de/ ) for many years now.
Let's chat on our chat server: https://chat.sonoj.org . I'm "nils" there as well.

But I've got this errors/warnings when loading it:
On Linuxsampler it doesn't work (via Qsampler):
With liquidsfz (via Carla) it runs but with this warnings:

Linuxsampler is not FOSS and liquidsfz is just underdeveloped. The errors and warnings have nothing to do with with piano itself.

In that case may I suggest to add to your README files: This sample library is licensed under "Creative Commons Attribution", https://luciphercode.wixsite.com/sofia-mz For the purpose of non-sample-library works such as music, sound effects etc. it is licensed under "Creative Commons ...

Re: My sampled pianos

If you create an instrument for use in music, you don't have any rights to the music it is used in, nor can you ask for such conditions. To put it another way, noone who makes any sfz, sf2, lv2, vsti, sound module, keyboard or guitar has any copyright over any music they are used in, ever. If it wa...

License is Creative Commons Attribution.

Does that mean if you record music with the samples you have to do the Attribution? ( I hope not). Or attribution only when you modify the sample libraries themselves, as sample libs?

Re: My sampled pianos

It would be really nice to have a license. I looked on the web page and in the files' README and did not find any.
If I may be so bold I'd like to request to read my article for the license choice:

Re: high quality plugins for cinematic music?

Seriously? Ok back to windows then.. Yes, everything high quality only exist for Windows and OSX and is held under tight lock with all kinds of DRMs and walled-garden software. Eventually people will show up in this thread and tell you otherwise and link to this or that. And everyone of these links...
