Re: CLI midi player with play pause & tempo change

fluidsynth itself can play a midi from the command line but has no control options jpmidi has no internal soundfont engine but you get the controls, start, stop, seek (jump). But it does not react to jack transport tempo changes. Possibly because midi files have their own tempo changes builtin so yo...

Re: Search for a special hardware music player

Thanks. I don't see anything that this can load from USB indeed, I don't think so in fact.
And I don't see anything that this can send music via BT to my ear-protection

Search for a special hardware music player

Hi forum, I am coming to you for your swarm-intelligence. For my wood workshop I am looking for a music player with the following list of features. I have not found something like that on my own yet and hope that, by chance, one of you knows exactly the right thing. I am explicitly looking for a dev...

Re: High-end pro-audio plug-ins for Linux

What makes them "higher", compared to plugins that aim to do the same?

Re: A Midi Visualizer I am working on (Videos)

While musicanim was and is certainly impressive there is a lot more to it than a midi visualizer. It is so good because everything is hand syncronised to an actual recording. Midi plays a role, but it is just one of many steps. Also look at the time scale. This here is a small little project, I am n...

A Midi Visualizer I am working on (Videos)

As a little fun project I began working on a midi visualizer three days ago. The main purpose is to learn more about high-performance graphics programming. But I know music and midi, so I made this my first project. "Midi Visualizer" is just a description, not a software title. If released at all it...

Re: Release: New Session Manager Version 1.4.0

All changes to the legacy GUI have been made because it was 1) obviously a bug (showing the wrong session title, not showing program icons, accepting invalid input for sessions and clients, such as empty strings) 2) after testing with real world users, some of them never used a session manager, some...

Re: Initial Release: Argodejo v0.1 - "New Session Manager" GUI

Ladies and Gentlemen, here is a silly reason for a release: Previously the name of the program was spelled incorrectly. Esperanto "Agordejo" is "the place to set things up" or "the place to configure". But from early on I used "Argodejo". The only release so far was tagged as "proof of concept" so i...

Laborejo has no release yet. The website is generated and generated that by "accident."
