Re: Censorship on linuxmusicians.com?

The new build howto is perfectly fine. I do not feel the need to correct anything this time.
Starting with "I prefer" is all that was ever needed.

Re: Rock/Metal Midi Instrument Design in Zyn

Hey, I have watched your video. First, as a fellow metal-head, this is a fantastic endeavour! Please carry on! And thanks for the very free license. I hope you don't mind, I want do bounce a few ideas around. Of course metal is not only guitars, but the whole song. 1) As you say in your video, the d...

I have the PinebookPro and I can not recommend it for ProAudio. Get a 2nd hand older business notebook instead with a variety of connections.

Re: QJackCtl has blinking red background

Xruns are not the end of the world. They happen on every system. The point is to observe when they happen: During playback and active audio production? Then you have a problem. When a program loads, crashes, searches a minute or two for plugins or renders/exports a large session? Then you don't have...

Nice, but it'd be nice to have more info about the setup used by each participant!
That was not possible to write down within the time constraints of one hour.

Name the piece(s) you want to know more about and I'll ask for an explanation.

Re: Hydrogen pattern won't play Ardour hosted Drumgizmo

Try this:
Top left corner of Ardour is a button labeled "INT" (internal). If you click it it switches to "JACK". Now Ardour participates in jack transport and syncs.

Results of an Open Source Music "One Hour Challenge"

Instead of a monthly real-life meeting Corona forced us to do our yearly "One Hour Challenge" online today. I want to present the musical results to you. https://sonoj.org/challenge/#osamc_2020_04 Provided was a .wav file, unknown to the participants until right before the start, and we had to make ...

Use Patroneo ( https://www.laborejo.org ) as Sequencer and DrMr LV2 to load hydrogen drumkits into any lv2 host of your choice, such as carla. (or carla-single, to keep it simple)
