beaming rests

I just took a quick look at my musescore charts and none of them have multimeasure rests. Guess I didn't figure it out. I tried just now and failed to make it work. There is surely a newer version than my 0.9.1... That nabble post might have been referring to a more recent version. The interface is ...

Re: Using Musescore

I think I did get this working... Unfortunately my notes aren't accessible to me right now. I will try to reply tonight from home. Please remind me if you don't hear back!

TWIT Dannenberg (Audacity) interview

I found the above podcast pretty interesting. Audacity is amazing. I learned in the interview that you can import midi and sync it with a recording.

Re: how to record with audacity using jack?

Last I knew Audacity's support for JACK was non-existent - or maybe minimal. I have had great success recording from "Line In" or "Wav Mix Out". I use Audacity to real-time record internet radio and (shh!) occassionally to record a tune from a music service which I can't locate D...

Hey Matt, Great work with the album. That must have been quite a project. You did a nice job with the mixing and production - I'm no expert on this - but it sounds good! I like the story and the message in "Worthless." Most of the commercial Christian music I hear on the radio doesn't deal...

Pretty cool. I didn't know that MediaWiki had a lilypond plugin.

I'll get on it. Pretty simple...

I uploaded the same video to both YouTube and Blip.tv. The quality and resolution were both better at Blip!

I uploaded a video of me playing some music.

Music is a "passionate hobby"...I am happy that I've gotten this far squeezing in practicing outside of work. :-)

I use aplaymidi from the command line a lot: aplaymidi song.mid -p 128:0 I'm going to install wildmidi soon. http://www.funnestra.org/ubuntu/hardy/#wildmidi I'm hoping that it will fix the wine - midi - pulseaudio(?) problems I've encountered since upgrading to Ubuntu Hardy Heron. I was wrong there is a forum and a support queue at sourceforge. That would be the best place for my questions.

Using Musescore

There seems to only be a developers mailing list for Musescore. I'm not sure if I should bother them with end user questions. I'm posting a couple of questions here as well as somethings I've figured out: Questions: * How do I select multiple measures in order to copy/paste? (I can do single measure...

I'm really keyboard centric and would be happiest if I could "type out" a score without ever touching the mouse. One of the first things I do with a new sequencer or notation editor is customize the key-bindings/shortcuts. I'll try to follow up when I have more time and can be more thoroug...
