Re: LSP momo sampler
Have you recorded MIDI notes that are passed to the sampler? The reason may be that all of them have the same velocity. No I didn't but I was thinking exactly that. Have it triggered by that. I was trying to get it done with your plugin because the one from Robin which I think it's kick drum trigge...

Re: LSP momo sampler
To my understanding, you need to load the samples with different velocities into each slot, marked as Sample 0-7. So, you load the sample with the loudest drum hit as Sample 0 and the softest as Sample 7. (In the screenshot, click on Sample 0 to switch between slots, which is on the left, under MID...

LSP momo sampler
Hey, anyone knows if layers for multi velocity are loaded into the LSP samplers if the different layers will be played? I mean softer hit meaning a softer or quieter sample will be hit and visa versa for heavy or harder hit. I have different velocity single hits from my drummer's kit so that way if ...

Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
Did you check the audio settings in mixbus? Looks like those have been changed for some reason. Sorry I forgot to explain my stupidity there. For some reason which I've never ever used mixbus32C in that manner but for some reason it had the synchronization button on. That took care of things but I ...

Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
This is what's happening now with previous sessions. New ones work as testing by starting a fake session to see if any errors
It launches but hitting play does nothing.
Nothing has changed except the script you gave but that seems to be ok with Ardour and Reaper and H2.

Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
No, you don't have to launch from a terminal. For the PIPEWIRE_LATENCY variable, you can edit the application menu command. I don't know what Desktop Environment you are using, so the method may vary but with KDE you right click the application menu icon and click "edit applications". My ...

Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
Nothing connects to qjackctl by the way, qjackctl changes things about jack which is what is being connected to or in this case the jack module of pipewire. You can edit the application menu of items by changing the launch command to PIPEWIRE_LATENCY=<buffer>/<samplerate> <command> so for instance ...

Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
$1,024 is an expensive setting :P The 1024 default setting is dictated by a config file setting that qjackctl doesn't change. That's what the script I made does. Pipewire is designed so that programs choose their quantum/buffer and the lowest one requested is used. JACK programs don't work like thi...

Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
You can't use qjackctl for changing settings with pipewire, it won't work. I put a script for setting the default quantum/buffer here: https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?t=26607 Then somebody better inform my system because that's only how it works. I finally got stuff working what I wanted t...

Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
I use it that way because for instance say if I'm using midi files to trigger a software synth and then record it well I get some crazy latency. M y main mixing DAW is mixbus32C which 1,024 is perfect for mixing and my interface has next to zero latency. It's one of those audient Sono. But as mentio...

Re: Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
I've done it last night. For me it works the same way as using jack. Do you have pipewire-jack installed? Yes I've got the jack client installed. In fact I've got all of the pipewire apps that are necessary for low latency and pro audio. Hydrogen when playing you can actually see it being registere...

Hydrogen syncing with Ardour (pipewire)
Hey, anyone know how to sync H2 with Ardour using pipewire?
We were able to do so via Jack.

Re: arch alternatives
Have you tried the Chaotic-AUR repository ( https://aur.chaotic.cx/ )? It brings automated builded AUR packages. There are some Wine variations as Wine-TKG ( https://madskjeldgaard.dk/posts/improve-vst-performance-wine-tkg/ ). I'm using Wine-NSPA ( https://github.com/nine7nine/Wine-NSPA ), a variat...

Re: arch alternatives
https://archlinux.org/packages/?q=reaper Then what's this? They've just updated it.. I know I was surprised about a year or so ago when I did a pacman -Syu and it came in. I don't know how quickly this gets updated after release but it is updated very regularly, I notice it in my updates every coup...

Re: arch alternatives
Reaper isn't in the official repos as such. It's in the AUR -- the Arch user repository . The official repos are always up to date, perhaps too much for some people. I regularly update my kernel, and in the four years I've been using Arch, updating my kernel has messed up my system twice. It's easi...
