Re: Sonarworks Headphone Calibration Software

Maybe this is of some use for you: https://github.com/ShanonPearce/ASH-BRIRs Even if it is developed for a windows EQ, the HPCFs been implemented as IR wav files and could be used with any Convolver. Hmm, thanx bro! This got me thinking. Would IR files of good mixing rooms work for headphones? I me...

Re: Download for Linux

The kits were recorded by Vincent (tchackpoum.fr), of his drums. They have no bleed but there are room and overhead buses (both stereo). They sound great. There are 3 sets of toms, 5 snares, a bunch of cymbals, a few kicks...lots of stuff. Kicks have in/out/sub channels, snares have top/bottom chan...

Re: Download for Linux

I think the idea of having a library of beats is useful for some people especially if used as a basis for an idea and/or jamming out something quickly. I seem to work backwards though, wanting the drums to match something so specifically that even using Ezdrummer2's library crammed full of extra MI...

Re: Download for Linux

ugh this runs under wine, I can't drag and drop the midi tracks into Ardour, Reaper.... With this script, you can import the file in Reaper (no drag-and-drop, but it's better than nothing). https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?p=2030985 I stopped using "built in" MIDI in drum plugins a...

Re: Download for Linux

Cool, I didn't know that is available natively. not yet.. I use it sometimes to structure a song but I have to use windows then export the midi then run the midi through drumgizmo. Doing this as we speak because even though this runs under wine, I can't drag and drop the midi tracks into Ardour, Re...

Re: latest git pull will not build on Arch

For now, you can disable LV2 GTK2 support by recompiling MusE without the ENABLE_LV2_GTK2 cmake flag. It means a few plugins might not show a UI at all, but others may be able offer a different UI that will be automatically selected or you can choose (see Settings > LV2 gui behaviour). my luck, it ...

Re: latest git pull will not build on Arch

I could replicate the error. Same conclusion of Tim. It seems due to a Pango update. Other packages have the same issue. The temporary solution is to change /usr/include/pango-1.0/pango/pango-coverage.h and /usr/include/pango-1.0/pango/pango-font.h Where it includes hb.h, it should include harfbuzz...

Re: latest git pull will not build on Arch

Meh... you're missing some sort of pango font development package. The header file "hb.h" is part of gtk's "Harfbuzz OpenType text shaping engine". On my system the file is found in package harfbuzz-devel. From our README: Make sure the gtkmm-2 and gtk+-2 development packages ar...

latest git pull will not build on Arch

Just did a fresh pull and I got this: [ 17%] Building CXX object muse/lv2Gtk2Support/CMakeFiles/lv2_gtk2_support.dir/lv2Gtk2Support.o In file included from /usr/include/pango-1.0/pango/pango-font.h:25, from /usr/include/pango-1.0/pango/pango-attributes.h:25, from /usr/include/pango-1.0/pango/pango.h...

Re: [ANN] LSP Plugins release 1.1.10 is ready!

Yes, I've been running the quality at 100%. Also when I do it like that in Ardour using three out of my four CPU cores it's a lot faster but when I do it in Carla, after about 10 hours it was at 17% so I stopped it. Is the quality good enough at 50%?

Re: [ANN] LSP Plugins release 1.1.10 is ready!

Okay , just to make sure I understand this clearly, any 3D room for instance one that's created in blender we can actually create the Reverb or the echo or whatever it is from the 3D model? Yes, you can render the impulse response of the DIY-room and use it anywhere as a convolution reverb. Sweet! ...
