Re: Airwindows Meter

That's why I didn't know if it's a plug-in or a standalone but all my research keeps saying you can run it as a standalone but then you need something like CLion and things like that It's a plugin (There is also a standalone executable, but unless you want to launch and route/connect it every time ...

Re: Airwindows Meter

I got the VST3 working in Carla. Don't really know how to interpret it yet but didn't read Chris' long rave about it. Lots of pretty dots and stuff! :D Yes Chris is amazing but he even started off by saying this is going to be a long long explanation but he keeps forgetting to say how to launch the...

Airwindows Meter

Hey, anyone here using airwindows Meter? If yes, how do we use it? Maybe I missed something but since the very first version of it Chris has never explained in the videos how to use it in the sense of launching the application because here I'm thinking it's a plug-in but it's not and I thought it wa...

Doesn't mixbus produce a log?

I think it does 99.9% of everything that Ardour does unless you mean running it in debug mode and for some reason I can't figure that one out even though I've looked for it.

Re: Mixbus10 100% CPU issues

Thanks and yes I do know that they're separate but on the conky CPU monitoring that goes completely white on all eight cores and as soon as I terminate MB10 call me you see that reading dropped to like 1% so if CPU usage and DSP usage are not the same thing then what the heck is happening with mine ...

Re: Mixbus10 100% CPU issues

True! It's an i7-2600K at 3.4 GHz.

H-Top is not reporting exactly what is going on because right now I'm getting a lot of popping and it's at 99% an htop says it's at 58%

Re: Mixbus10 100% CPU issues

Here's another thing, in htop under VIRT, MB10 hits 10.4G and that's when I get the xruns, the popping and the 100%. First I thought is was picom or xcompmgr. Shut all of them off. I thought it could of been one of them because you'd hear the pop and see the red 100% warning every time picom or xcom...

Re: Mixbus10 100% CPU issues

Yes I'm waiting to hear back from either Ben or Nathan. I ran the h-top and I didn't see anything weird unless you guys see it in the pic above. Maybe I should go see if any of my pro settings have changed which I doubt. It's not running at 100% in that picture above though, it just looks normal to...

Very much doubt it could be a RAM issue. Have you contacted support?

Re: Mixbus10 100% CPU issues

This box amusing basically is a salad of RAM. 18 gigs. Should I go to 32 gigs of RAM because I'm running MB10 pro. Even with all the pro settings which I've been using for years without any problems, it was working fine then all of a sudden this started. I cannot work at all. I even went as high as ...

Re: Drumgizmo still alive?

I'm still here, just not investing much time in the project at the moment. For the time being, the website is kept running, and a minimum of support is done on this forum. I hope to be able to pick up development again at some point, but right now other things are occupying my time :-) Fully unders...

Re: Drumgizmo still alive?

It's a valid question! I personally don't work on it anymore since a long time, as I simply have other priorities these days. I cannot speak for deva though, who also always is/was the driving force behind DrumGizmo. Oh no that would be sad if this project is dead. For me and what I do it was proba...
