Re: New Dan Worrall video about saturation

I've been really enjoying fabfilter's and Dan Worrall's videos recently, the recent reacomp one was such a good tutorial and the beginner guides are fascinating. I just watched this one and it made me think that there isn't really anything on linux that can do the same thing, and also what a great ...

Re: Mixbus 32C v5.1

I've never used this, but here goes: If you hold Ctrl ( Cmd on Mac ) when clicking “OK”, the session will be opened in “SAFE” mode. Mixbus will ignore the last-used playhead position and zoom; and no plugins will be loaded. The plugins will appear as placeholders which you can edit or remove, and t...

Mixbus 32C v5.1

Hey, does anyone know where the safe mode option is on MB32C startup screen is? On Ardour it's on the bottom left but not there on MixBus 32C.
I'm having problems loading my sessions. It crashes so I'm figuring it could be a plugin issue

Re: Python scripts not working

Ported the script at hand to PyQt5, please find it attached. I'd propose creating the scripts folder here $HOME/.config/MusE/scripts/ and putting the file there. MusE will find it and display it in the menu. The file needs to have the executable bit set. E.g with: chmod +x RandomizeVelocityRelative...

Python scripts not working

Michael (empowerg) wrote a few Py scripts for velocity and randomizing notes in the drum editor and piano roll(I think as I don't use). They've stopped working. I've contacted Michael on FB and he said it could be a version thing of the Python. This is the error I'm getting. I'm using Arch64. PyQt f...

Re: muse-git for arch

I can build MusE when pulled from git without the PKGBUILD but using AUR the muse in the AUR is a static version, not git backed. Even did what Milk suggested and it won't build anymore. there are four sed statements in the PKGBUILD. commenting out one is probably not going to help the entire build...

Re: muse-git for arch

The last PKGBUILD linked in the post below built just fine here with the commit appended. Not only did it build, but the drum editor was also fully functional ! I believe it is indeed functional in most cases, the question at hand is the drawing of snap lines (unless me and the reporter ar...

So does anyone know what that are messages that I'm getting? It seemed to be an issue with sed.

Re: muse-git for arch

I'll wait for it to be fixed in the git. none of these are building that's why I grabbed the git without using PKGBUILD The last PKGBUILD linked in the post below built just fine here with the commit appended. If you limit the checkout to
git checkout 4547301
which is at January 19, it seems ok. Something happened with the checkin after that, on the 20th.

not that good with git so I just confused the living daylights out of myself :?
