Re: MOD Devices sponsors Linuxmusicians.com

As I'm writing this, I just got an add from MOD on IG. Been getting it everyday! I figured they're doing good!
Didn't falktx say he'd pay as long as you didn't go commercial?

Re: Dragonfly Reverb Bug

I just launched a project in Mixbus32C and the noise ripped me out of my seat.
This is the first time as I've used Dragonfly for sometime now. This is with Dragonfly Room.
It's like static on an old tubed TV. It's loud too.

Re: launching muse

Can you get away with using the -I command line option (disable loading dssi), or do you have other dssi plugins that you need? I need to see a few things. Can you post a terminal output with -D (debug mode) at startup, to see what might be taking so long? Please do that after running MusE at least...

launching muse

Hi guys, everytime I launch MusE on Arch, it takes about 10 minutes to launch as it's looking for the vst plugins. I've uninstalled dssi-vst, removed all the .dll files and also removed the paths to the vst in the settings yet it still tries to load the .dll and the LinVst converted vsts. Even after...

Re: Stereo widening

Airwindows DEV gives some tips about his plugin in post 5 here https://www.gearslutz.com/board/product-alerts-older-than-2-months/1214559-airwindows-wider-mac-windows-linux-au-vst.html That was useful, thanks. I ended up using Pivot (EQ), Widen and Stereo Width  on my current track. I was usin...

Re: Any e-drummer here? looking for plugin recommendations

When I'm not sitting at my computer for a few days trying to edit midi drums, my buddy when he has the time would hook up and play drum Gizmo to his electronic drum kit and because of the realism of drum Gizmo (real kiss, bleeding e.t.c.) it's like if he was actually playing his acoustic drum kit.

Nice! I like the script idea. But the connecting on qjackctl is my winner.

Re: Mooer Ge 150

I've got their MPL and the software it does not run natively. It installs in wine but the USB connection is not visible. I've contacted them and they said it's a waste of time for them to make a native version of the software for linux. I use the software on my phone and I keep an old laptop runnin...

Re: Melody Helpr (create melody sequences with ML)

I hit transfer and Ardour crashed. Also, how do I hear the melody? Hm. Do you run version 6? Unfortunately, there are some issues using the scripts with the new release. I try to fix them asap. I mainly tested and used the app and the scripts with v5. Note that I have uploaded a video today. The qu...

Re: Patchbay and others like it.

I use Catia which is like the patchbay in Carla. Catia looks better IMO -- it has what falkTX calls 'fancy eye-candy' which is rounded corners on the blocks representing plugins and a sort of glow around them. I find the layout where a plugin appears on the input and output side less obvious. With ...
