Re: MusE 3.1pre3

Hey guys, I'm working on a new midi drum track and part way through it I'd like to change the tempo for a small section then back to the original tempo. How is that done in MusE? I just put the play head where I want the change to happen (in the main window) and change the tempo in the tool bar. Ye...

Re: MusE 3.1pre3

It's done with the tempo map. We call it a 'master track' since it is a tempo and time signature 'track'. Open either the 'master track list editor' or 'graphical master track editor' from the main 'view' menu. The green icon beside each tempo entry box enables the master track, as the tooltip says...

Re: MusE 3.1pre3

Didn't forget about that. Looking into it. It would be very similar to our 'bounce' feature. I've got a plan worked out to implement it. But at the moment I've got a couple of branches I need to get straight before I can tinker with that because those branches also tinker with the very same areas. ...

Re: MusE 3.1pre3

Amazing work guys! Will the exporting of audio tracks be added so for instance if I did the drums with every instrument on in own track and I wanted to export each track individually (stems) so I can say send it to a studio or in my case, my bassist? It's there already in Ardour and Reaper but I do ...

Re: Xrauns, Audio Cutout and DSP Workload

Since the latest update of Reaper, I get crazy x-runs when trying to record DrumGizmo's beats from midi to individual track wave tracks.. I mean super crazy x-runs yet the audio never seems to be affected. I figured it's Reaper. Manjaro is still basically Arch if I'm correct?? Well I'm on Arch runni...

Re: Issue with latency

It's new since a month or two, it is enabled in Settings > Global Settings > Latency. There's a whole thread and announcement here, a few posts down. But I've a feeling this may be more related to Jack Transport... Since you're at 128 buf size. I've completely removed everything MusE and reinstalle...

Re: Issue with latency

1: What Jack period size are you using? 2: Do have the new MusE latency feature enabled? Will try to investigate... Thanks. Jack 128 but tried 256 and 1024 all the same. 2: Do have the new MusE latency feature enabled? what's that and where could I enable it? To be honest, I thought I saw something...

Re: Issue with latency

I don't know if this is my issue but lately, MusE has been lagging. When I try to match a beat with a guitar track in Ardour(using Jack link) MusE is off. for instance, a kick drum and a cymbal to start a bar along with the synced guitar track(Ardour), the guitar is bang on with the metronome where ...

Re: [ANN] Qtractor 0.9.11 - The Mauerfall'30 Release

Awesome work Rui. Thank you.
Quick question, how do I fan out plugins with multi channels like DrumGizmo into individual tracks for each instrument of the drumkits when recording the midi drum track to .wav?

Advanced AU/LV2/VST/VST3 audio plugin host. And it works on Linux :)

I'm not too familiar with this but isn't this what Carla does already?

Re: how to render stems in MusE?

Yes I just figured out that it's only floating points. It's actually more work because now I have to line things up. Yes it looks like we really need a way to export wav files the same way you can export the midi . Even as I have every instrument on its own track I tried sinking Muse with Ardour and...

Re: how to render stems in MusE?

Okay I think I have solved this issue. In the muse folder where all the .med files are saved it also automatically renders or export all the wave files. I found that out by right clicking on one of the wav files I recorded and went to wav info and there it told me what folder I can actually find eve...

Re: how to render stems in MusE?

What common format or guidelines are used? MusicXML or something else? I'm guessing there must be some kind of list file pointing to all the audio tracks used? I most DAWS, you have a 'render' or 'export' option of each track so like EnglishGuy said, you can send to a mixing engineer or like in my ...
