Oh, but rpm is missing... The app has now most of the features I wanted, (or for now I run out of ideas), so maybe one day.

jack_delay GUI
It's not as jack_delay is difficult to use, but I had GUI done for Cable so I just extracted it to separate app. Simply enough to launch with: python latency_test.py so I'm not providing any packages apart from PKGBUILD (on AUR as jack_delay-gui). Good Lord Man! I've been downloading a new version every few days, I can't keep up! Don't you worry, more is coming :lol: I fixed some bugs with save toggle and I managed to figure out connecting multiple ports and groups. But I think I'm nearly done with features I wanted to add so it should slow ...

Cheers! I might be faking it with LLMs but the app is real! I must say I have so much respect for real devs, doing it everything on their own. Even with "bots", it takes so much time and effort to make everything run and work as imagined. I can inly hope it's worth it.

jack_delay is a tool to measure latency yourself: https://kokkinizita.linuxaudio.org/linuxaudio/ It will work with Jack and Pipewire. For Alsa, you could use Ardour as it has a tool for that. I would expect Alsa do perform the best. Jack and Pipewire shouldn't be far behind.

Version 0.7 released.
Ports can now be grouped with a toggle and right click menu. PKGBUILD (also on AUR), Arch package, deb, AppImage, flatpak and pyinstaller are available.

You can resize that manually and Plasma should remember it. I'll fix this in the next version. Thanks for pointing it out. (It's refresh button that is hidden, new settings are applied immediately after selecting them. I wanted as little clicks as possible.) 1.0.1 version should have that fixed.
