For audio output of applications I'll try to write a script so I don't have to that manually each time.
Together with a jack connections file all the audio routing should be saved to be used next time.

After experimenting with pulse audio to jack I want to try pipewire.
Is it possible to use pipewire on AV Linux (21.2.1)?
AVL uses sysvinit instead of systemd.
At 94% the installer pauses because user input is required (see Login info tab)
Click 'Next' and provide computer name / user name / password.
Clean installed from ISO. Preserving the home partition gave some side effects in the GUI. Like a broken logout button.
Finally installed with also formatting the home partition.
All fine.
