Following up the clock source setting question, this is what the support wrote to me:

… this is a control that you'll need to access from the Audiofuse Control Center, which is only compatible with Windows and macOS, so it won't be possible to adjust it using Linux …

Discovered the Zoom F8n recently, and it's a very nice unit to use, at half the price of a SoundDevices. But I gathered that despite being class compliant, it doesn't work as a multi-channel interface in Linux, which kind of kills it for me as an investment. Or does anyone run this recorder with all...

Hi there. Did you solve your issue? I'm contemplating getting the AudioFuse Rev2, and I was wondering in general how you would switch the clock source under Linux, since this setting doesn't seem to have any hardware switch. Can you do that in the ALSA mixer, for example?

I will now try to switch to PW/JACK and report back on that. Hey - any follow-up on this? Does the Fireface UCX II work completely on Linux (e.g. Debian stable) under Jack? All routing and controls (mic gain, phantom power etc.) operable from alsamixer and/or hardware knobs on the device? Any pitfa...
