Presonus Studio 1810c - compatability with Linux

Hello forum, I am planning to buy the Presonus Studio 1810c audio interface. I am working with Linux and Ardour and would like to have an interface with more inputs/outputs than my previous one (e.g. I need at least 4 output channels for live playing). I was comparing this interface to similar ones,...

Re: Map relative encoders (2s complement) to positional controllers

Thanks both for your suggestions! I gave mididings a try, since it looks like a very flexible tool. Re: Sampler that plays the whole sound

Thanks all for the helpful replies :D I think for now I will go with drumkv1, since it seems to do the job quite well. It is also very customizable at first look. Impostor, LAM, thanks for linking the relevant thread! DrMr sampler is another one with note-off ignore. This one does seem pretty cool f...

Sampler that plays the whole sound

Hello LinuxMusicians, I am a new to music production and I want to use only FOSS software to make music :D My midi controller (Nektar Impact LX61+) has a set of 8 pads that ideally I want to use for percussive/drum sounds. I found the sampler Fabla ( http://openavproductions.com/fabla/ ) that allows...
