Re: Behringer issues

I'm so happy! All I wanted was for something to just work. Being spoiled as I said with no command line in years, I was as dumb as a post for a minute or two. But you still tried to help. The card should be put on the non compatible list until a workaround can be found. I say again thanks for the su...

Re: Behringer issues

Firstly I want to point to the web space "welcome we're glad you're here !" I was glad I was here and was asking for the second time in 25 years as a Ubuntu user for help. I haven't played with scripts or command line stuff much in at least ten years. I guess maybe it shocked me or made me...

I have been lazy in the past few years and spoiled by most things now being gui. I have to relearn some of the skills I have use years ago. Mostly because up until now I b...

Re: Behringer issues

Challenging, since 2007, would be the way I describe my Linux experience. However solving an issue does give me great joy. But not what I would say as fun.

Re: Behringer issues

Again attitude. "It helps if you put command line between [code) tags for readability. This error:". What does that mean? I don't know what you are saying but somehow I feel like I should have known.

Re: Behringer issues

I did the procedure multiple times and the chances that I miss typed my password in all of them is remote. My comment about attitude was about being scolded by the moderator for not trying the suggested solution. 1. I didn't understand what needed to be done. 2. I hadn't yet seen the suggestion from...

Re: Behringer issues

I don't see in the post that the fix listed worked. Also I wouldn't know how to change kernel options. When i tried the commands listed in the post I received error system in use. Would I have to boot with a live version to make the changes , so the system would no t be in use? Does the 204 work wit...

Behringer issues

I have purchased a Behringer UMC202HD as I found a post on this forum that it worked out of the box with Linux :?: . Running Ubuntu studio 21.10 and yes indeed worked out of the box. After a nightmare with a sound blaster card recording and playback was good too hear. On the bad side all of the play...
