I've had a working environment for quite some time on my Debian testing machine, then one day, possibly after an upgrade but can't be sure as a few months have passed (I'm recovering from a road accident) suddenly all MIDI devices (MIDI interface, USB master keyboard, Korg PADKontrol, etc) disappear...
