Just change the `PREFIX` like that :

Code: Select all

cd src
make clean (if you already use make command before)
make PREFIX="/usr/"
sudo make PREFIX="/usr/" install
That will use /usr/bin/ and /usr/share/ to install all the mx44 necessary files.

TAERSH : The latest version Mx44.2, version 2.0 of mx44 works with jack for the sound and Alsa for the midi really well. Did you try to build from sources ?
