Hi bebop99. I also had midi and audio problems when starting with linux. My system is a fast octacore with 16GB RAM. Ubuntu Studio 20.10 with WINE installed to run old Win software. Hello world. Switched to Linux over a year ago and enjoying the freedom. Was a music software product manager in a past life so I will try to help out in the forums. The LinuxMusicians forums have helped me put together a fast studio with existing gear. Glad to join the community!
