Re: setbfree does not play all my pedal-board notes
In the setBfree midi.c source file, the default lowest pitch value for pedals is 24 (C0) and not 36 (C1). Setting midi.pedals.transpose=-12 in the setBfree configuration file fixes the issue.

setbfree does not play all my pedal-board notes
Hello Everyone, I have built a B3 clone with setBfree as main software, running on a Raspberry PI. No problem with the 61-note keyboards, but setBfree does not play all notes from my PedaMidikit 25-note pedalboard. Pedals [C1 to G2] work fine, but I get no sound from [G#2 to C3] pedals. I know this ...

Re: How to connect to BackupBand using QjackCtl ?
Great enhancements Jeff and thanks once again for your technical support ! I'm confident I will get all of this working eventually. I'm starting designing the JavaFX UI that will control BB.

Re: How to connect to BackupBand using QjackCtl ?
My tests pass by using the master channel ! Thanks a lot Jeff for your help. The next steps are to use BB headless, then to get it working on the RPI. What do you recommend to go headless? Should I discard the UI by using a configuration file, or is it doable by using the BB source files configurato...

Re: How to connect to BackupBand using QjackCtl ?
No differenceDoes checking the box "Full motion slider" make any difference?
Same behaviour : the bass volume (initial value is 100) is set to zero as soon as I touch the Java app slider knob.use the "Bass -> Set Volume" command to see if it works setting the bass volume.

Re: How to connect to BackupBand using QjackCtl ?
Hi Jeff, Thank you for replying so quickly and with so many details. I did some progress and I can now change BB style from my Java app. I describe below what is still not working. Without additional info, I'm going to make the following assumptions about what you're trying to do. You don't want bb'...

How to connect to BackupBand using QjackCtl ?
Hi everyone! I would like to use this smart software called BackupBand into my Hammond organ clone. I have to connect BackupBand input to the keyboards matrix scanner built on Arduino and muxes, but I also want to connect it to a Java program in charge of sending MIDI CC messages. This would be easy...

Hi from France with a mask...
Hello everyone ! My name is Georges, I'm living on the west coast of France, near Nantes. I have built a Hammond B3 organ clone with the setBfree software at its core. I have discovered BackupBand some days ago and I would like to embed this nice auto-arranger into my organ. Have a nice day ! Georges
