[SOLVED] Buying first audio interface next week, need help to choose which one
So as the title says, next week I'm planning to get my first audio interface, but I'm currently in doubt which one of the options I should get: Behringer UMC202HD - R$656 (~ USD 116) Mackie Onyx Producer 2.2 - R$741 (~ USD 131) Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 - R$1.213 (~ USD 215) I didn't planned to include...

Re: JACK issues after changing motherboard
Decided to post some updates After some time I've decided to test Ardour with ALSA, and discovered that I can run 48khz with 3 as period buffer without any xruns at all, even with with low buffer settings like 128 or 256. With 2 it gets really bad but with 3 works beautifully. Then when moving to JA...

Re: JACK issues after changing motherboard
Yes you're right :) I'll add this to my test list, I've already got the tip from other people to try other kernels, the only thing holding me back from using a more recent one is my nvidia drivers which are really a pain to do anything without just exploding it, as soon as I try a audio ready system...

Re: JACK issues after changing motherboard
LAM I think I've seen you username is other place but maybe I'm just confused :) Anyway, I've tried theses changes and still the same, I've talked with falktx and he said it can be a hardware issue, so maybe my only choice is wait for a system update and luckily it will fix this, I've tried searchi...

JACK issues after changing motherboard
Last monday (december 7) I've changed my cheap old motherboard to a new one, Asrock B450m Steel Legend, and after this I can't use JACK anymore, I'm trying to fix this since them but literally no progress. Some solutions I've already tried: deleting .jackdrc, .config/jack/conf.xml and .config/rncbc....

Re: Porting JUCE programs to DISTRHO/juce for LV2 support
Submodule? I guess you mean subdirectory in project's dir. Yeah I mean as a git submodule in the repo. I see that modules path is right, but you didn't add LV2 defines in JuceLibraryCode/AppConfig.h. It has to include such lines in BEGIN_USER_CODE_SECTION: Oh I forgot to do this again, I've done th...

Re: Porting JUCE programs to DISTRHO/juce for LV2 support
Add the JUCE port as a submodule Make and open Projucer and then add Linux make as one of the builds Copy LV2.mak.in to the plugin folder (in this case there's the repo folder and folder for the plugin which has the juce lib code, builds etc) and add "include ../../LV2.mak" in makefile Si...

Re: Porting JUCE programs to DISTRHO/juce for LV2 support
Another problem this time, after all going well I've hit another barrier that is making me quite confused. Basically all the compilation goes well except when calling generate-lv2-ttl.py , it gives this error Linking AnemoneChorus - LV2 python3 ../../generate-lv2-ttl.py build/AnemoneChorus.lv2/Anemo...

Re: Porting JUCE programs to DISTRHO/juce for LV2 support
I'm currently trying to port AnemoneChorus and LibreArp. My plan was to start the port for LibreArp but since it uses some "weird" stuff then I've decided to properly learn how to make ports using the AnemoneChorus.

Re: Porting JUCE programs to DISTRHO/juce for LV2 support
Linking flags inherited from VST2 flags. So, if you don't build VST2 version these flags will be lost. Just change in LV2.mak: JUCE_CFLAGS_VST into JUCE_CFLAGS_VST3 Unfortunately this doesn't worked :( , tried changing JUCE_CFLAGS_VST, JUCE_CPPFLAGS_VST and JUCE_LDFLAGS_VST, tried different variati...

Re: Porting JUCE programs to DISTRHO/juce for LV2 support
So just recycling this post. Currently I'm trying to recompile some windows and mac exclusive plugins to linux and lv2, but after setting up I got this error with the lv2 compilation Compiling include_juce_audio_plugin_client_LV2.cpp Linking _juce_target_ - LV2 /usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux...
