Maybe a Roland Rubix44? I have it running in the homeoffice together with Linux Mint20
  • Works out of the box on linux mint20
  • it has a compressor/limiter
  • 4 mic inputs
  • low noise preamps
  • no heating issues (as with other interfaces)

Unfortunately, the same problems here in the home office, with a Motu 624. So far I have tried everything imaginable ... a newer kernel (upto the newest 5_8 kernel) and also applied the latest patches ( Drumfix, Bluebell, DrumBell) various alternative configuration settings (Alsa, PulseAudio, Jack) ...
