Re: [SOLVED] Roland/Cakewalk A-800PRO.

Thank you for this post. I was wondering if I could use FPT, as listed in the feature set of the A-800Pro. In case anyone is here wondering, FPT is exactly what the driver mode refers to on page 65 of the manual. FPT is a proprietary low-latency driver made by Roland to take advantage of the full ba...

Re: Mic not detecting on audio programs

How are you connecting the mic to Jack? Is it alsa_in? I had a similar problem, and it turned out to be the Sample rate I had for the USB mic through alsa_in (NOT the sample rate of JACK). alsa_in defaults to the same sample rate as Jack, but it's ok if you specify a different one. Re: qjackctl patchbay and usb interface

I have not really found a good one, but I have figured a few things out myself as a newb. 1. Plug in your usb devices 2. Enter the following command in a terminal cat /proc/asound/cards 0 [PCH ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH HDA Intel PCH at 0xdff20000 irq 49 1 [HDMI ]: HDA-Intel - HDA ATI HDMI HDA ATI...

USB Mic fuzzy only when using alsa_in

Hi, I posted this in a different forum, because I'm very new at this. Anyway, that forum does not allow deleting, so I am still posting this here as a newb. Thank you. My USB Mic works/sounds great over Alsa to Pulse. My problem however is when I use it with Jack, using alsa_in , I get a LOT of nois...
