The default download version from sourceforge is 1.5.2, but version 1.5.6 is available (updated 4/28/2022) if you look at the files section. This is the version I have been using for a few months.

Re: Adrour Error Messages
One thing I noticed - errors, like: [WARNING]: Cannot get VST information for '/usr/lib/vst/mod-supercapo.lv2.so': failed to load cache file. might be due to the lv2 plugins residing in a vst directory. Lv2 plugins should go in your lv2 directory. Ardour is probably nagging that it can't get the vst...

Re: Ardour / Hydrogen syncronization with tempo changes
Bella, Thanks for the input. I had not checked back in on the forum since I last posted in this thread. No problem! As to LinuxSampler. I don't know how to align a front end, or even what that means, honestly. As stated, I am quite ignorant about tech in general. I am but an old musician, attemptin...

Re: Ardour / Hydrogen syncronization with tempo changes
I did find a couple of LV2 plugins that will likely work for this project, "Black Pearl," and "Red Zeppelin." It won't be a fun interface to work with and I don't much care for either of their sound fonts, but it will likely work. Also, I am aware that there are other drumkit ty...

Re: Ardour / Hydrogen syncronization with tempo changes
Again, the same with LinuxSampler! I can load up linuxsampler as an instrument, in Ardour, but it does nothing, there are no sounds there in, and I know of no way to incorporate a sound via its gui or otherwise cause sound to occur there in. What graphical front-end are you using with Linuxsampler?...

Re: Ardour / Hydrogen syncronization with tempo changes
Any hint toward how to overcome would be greatly appreciated. If you like working with Hydrogen you can still achieve what you want with ramped tempo and tempo changes in general. Instead of syncing Ardour and Hydrogen, you can have Ardour play your MIDI drum file and trigger your drum kit in Hydro...

I went through a similar search not long ago and really liked the MDA ePiano.

Re: [Qtractor] How to configure a multi-instrument plugin efficiently (BBCSO) ?
I dont run Qtractor or Carla but I've used Carla a bit in the past to at least know what I'm looking at in your screen shot, I think. Right now you have 2 channels (or 1 stereo channel) going directly to the master stereo output. If I'm understanding you correctly, how I'd approach this is by creat...

Re: Hi everyone
Yes, Ardour rocks. Prior to moving to Linux for Audio I had been faithfully using Cakewalk/Sonar on Windows for almost 2 decades. The transition to Ardour was actually really quick and easy and I've been very pleased with it.

Re: ZynAddSubFX in Ardour can't open Plugin GUI
Hrmm. I may install it later and see how it works on my system. I do see from the screen shot in your initial post that you're at least getting a generic GUI, but yeah that's not entirely helpful.

Re: ZynAddSubFX in Ardour can't open Plugin GUI
Hmmm, I don't use ZynnAddSubFX, but I did run into a similar thing a while back in Ardour 5. I think I was able to get the plug-in GUI by right clicking the plug-in from the channel strip and choosing 'Edit' I think it was.
