Re: Merging AES67 ALSA driver

Update :

I've sent the mt48 back. It's a bit disappointing but it is what it is.
I'll keep whit my x32 for now and maybe get the Wing Rack when it's released since it could serve as a USB Dante bridge.

Re: Merging AES67 ALSA driver

Hi Bluebell, Thanks for your reply. I don't think pulseaudio is using the interface since I don't see it in the PA menus. I tried to start Jack with your recommended configuration and got this message : jackd -dalsa -r48000 -p256 -n3 -d hw:MT48 jackdmp 1.9.20 Copyright 2001-2005 Paul Davis and other...

Re: Merging AES67 ALSA driver

Hi All, I bought a Neumann MT48 hoping it would work anyway since it's advertised as Class Compliant but sadly I'm afraid it doesn't play nice with Linux. It is seen by my computer but when I try to connect to it with Jack it gives me this message : Thu Mar 14 16:27:07 2024: Starting jack server... ...

Re: Musio/Cinesamples for Linux?

Well, I just sent them an email about this.
I'm realistic about the impact of an email but one can always hope :-)

Re: VocAlign for Linux ? Or any alternative ?

I purchased a licence for reaper specifically for this script. It's the only alternative to VocAlign I found for Linux (except doing it entirely manually). It's not perfect but it does make aligning faster, the only downside being that, if Reaper is not your main DAW (which is also my case), you nee...

Re: Mixbus v7 experiences, anyone?

I've been using MB32C 7 for a month or so.
No issues here, it's stable for me and the Rec window is a welcomed feature during sessions.
I'm on KDE Neon 18.04 with Kx Studio repos.

Re: DGEdit 0.10 released

I don't know about moc-qt5 but I did found a working package for KdeNeon (one of the dev installed it for me on my laptop at Sonoj convention and I still had the deb).

Re: DGEdit 0.10 released

Thanks Tavasti ; while I'm sure you are technically right, "safe" for me means that I feel confident I understand what I'm doing and I'm not sure compiling might enter this definition before a long time. If trusted packages don't exist, my second preferred option will probably be to make t...

Re: DGEdit 0.10 released

Hi, I'm working on a new kit but the version of DGedit that I have seems to be pretty old. Do you know of a package somewhere that I could safely install (I'm on KDE Neon, which is based on Ubuntu 18.04 as far as I know). I would prefer to avoid compiling (I'm working on a rather clean and stable, p...
