Re: Using Round Robin Samples in Drum Gizmo

Here is a link to my mappings for "The Boxer". https://drive.google.com/open?id=1N2f5CNtPbzSO4vxzJE09ytlU48-VnaaP Currently only Snare2 is mapped (There are 3 snares). The ClickyKit is currently disabled, since it is incomplete. The DG-Mapping folder (once unzipped) just needs to be placed...

Normalized Samples

So I have been experimenting with building a kit from the Analogue Drums "The Boxer" kit. It is designed for Kontakt - and uses 1-6 velocity groups per instrument with 6 repeat hits/round robins per velocity layer. The new sample selection features in DG version 0.9.17 enable stepping thro...

Re: DrumGizmo 0.9.17 Released!

Awesome! Thanks for all the work and the new release! I started building clicky-kit images for the kit that I am building - great feature! Finally got it all put together this weekend and the new sample selection algorithm and gui options seem to be handling the round robin setup nicely! Huge thanks to the developers for all their work! Once I have things...

Re: Using Round Robin Samples in Drum Gizmo

I just realized that it was Michael's blogpost that I was using as reference for building DG kits from sample packs - So thanks for that! :D No pressure to tune-up/release the DGPatchMaker from my perspective. I think a generic tool for building kits from samples would be super cool - but have also ...

Re: Using Round Robin Samples in Drum Gizmo

Thanks for the insight guys - Looks like I just need to wait for the functionality to be fixed/refined. Dude, Michael! the PatchMaker program looks like it could be super useful! I was thinking about writing something similar. I did whip up a script to build the Instrument xml files as a first step ...
