Re: Libre Music Challenge #6 : Lullabies !

If you find this unfair or want to exclude this nice track tell us and we can discuss it, or maybe Does Stefano not want to be voted  Well, guys, I didn't respect the rules, while you all did. So I feel I'm stealing votes. Let's do this, if you agree: I'm ok to be voted, at least I'm curious ...

Re: Libre Music Challenge #6 : Lullabies !

Uhm... This disqualifies my song :-(
I put tons of effects on every track: compressors, equalizers, reverbs... All FOSS, all coming with KXStudio, but anyway still effects on tracks.

I'm sorry, I didn't read properly.

Feel free to take off my song from the competition.

Good song. Very nicely realised trad pop song :)
Thank you so much. It was actually one of my goals, trying to make a "good old style" pop song.
Next one, I think I'll stay in the same kind of stuff, but probably a little bit more rock. :-)

It is a really great pop song! And I like the lyrics too!

Sharing the project is a nice touch although I don't use Ardour). Thanks!

Re: Forever Alone (all FOSS, shared Ardour project)

Not really my genre, but I liked the 60s vibe of the song! My only note would be on drums, that sound maybe a bit too synthetic? Thank you so much! Yes they sound a bit synthetic, so as the bass and some other instruments coming from soundfonts. The problem is that the drums line has been generated...

Re: "The Truth." (all made with Ardour on Linux)

I loved this song by the way, I'm really impressed with how professional it sounds; both the composition and the mix. Great work! Thank you so much! I'd love to point out that the instrumental bridge and the finale are 90% a JjazzLab automatic arrangement, probably a Yamaha style. I just changed th...

Re: "The Truth." (all made with Ardour on Linux)

Very nice! I enjoyed listening to that. You got a nice guitar sound on the solo section with the zoom . I liked that you revealed a bit of your process in Ardour in the video too! I also enjoyed watching and listening. Nice to go "under the hood" and see what software is behind the sound. I might m...
