On a related note: I'd like to apologize to anyone who received my dick pics in their email.
I find this comment offensive. Are you an active and respected user ?

Re: Reccomendations for vocal placeholders/vox/chorus

It might depend on what kind/style/pitch of singing or what flow/tempo you'll need. Over the years, I've used mainly (rep to voice pitch) concert flute or oboe or english-horn for most of my "more lyrical" songs while mostly using the saxophone (pitch related) for more rocky or ruggy or speedy stuff...

Re: Please help! What is the time signature of this drum sample

I'm curious what time signature this is. https://soundcloud.com/msphinct/drums-from-garage-band-electro-beat Thanks! Well, in case it'd help, I'd see it as a 16 loop of that s...

Re: Matchering 2.0

Hey, that's a nice full of promise one! Thanks for the note :) Just been testing some mix-mastr-blund-unblund and cross-reverse simile and it's a very promising start! Only some minor 'curiosities' in the overall limiting when using quite extreme refs but that was quite close to the usual matter of ...

Re: New headphones

Re: Is it possible to find sane loop points from samples automatically?

I must be in the wrong place, I thought this was the LinuxMusicians forum :P Thought so as well :D And in case of emergency CLI, which could be the case here since the script integration (or might be I read it perpendicularilly ;) there's good old SoX, Q&D PoC examples: sox in.wav output.wav silenc...

Have you by any chance installed cadence previously? This could be starting in the background.. No I've never had cadence on this machine. This might give you the "faulty parent" name and address ;) #>: ps -ef | grep $( ps -C jackd --no-headers -o ppid ) I don't know what to do with the output from...

Re: Virtual Midi Port/Cable

I can't find anything specific that's starting the JACK server, however I am using the pulse-audio sink which runs on start-up, does this automatically start the JACK server? You may check it any old time in a console: #>: ps -ef | grep -i jack I get this output, but I don't know what it means dave...
