Re: Sonarworks headphone & speaker calibration software.

You may check various versions of the Linux portage there: https://sonarworks.com/reference/archive (note that, at least in my case, using 'wget' as the DL tool instead of any of my browsers was the way to go, YMMV, and at least for my actual testing plate (Manjaro Arch 4.18 RT + pro-audio) the vers...

K453 WAV Coldplay WAV Vega WAV DarkHorse WAV NeilYoung 320K JayZ 128K Well, I reckon that was quite fun, I only previously heard two pieces in the selection (Harvest and the massacre on Wolfgang) though I managed to be wrong especially on poor Neil Young :D) I'd think that on the "JayZ" st...

Re: 'Thanks for posts' plugin for phpBB3

This would be great. There is many posts which are great, but I feel replying message saying 'gr8' too stupid and spamming. Yeah, but . . . It might be better for discussion to have a limited feature set in the forum interface. Think of how much the "Like" button has shut down conversatio...

Re: Free VST synths?

Quite the same as others already said, to me Helm and Noisemaker are musts, Zyn-fusion is promising as a giant for its sound but I must have something faulty in my brains wiring since I can't get a clue in its user interface, every time I think I've got it and managed to prepare a set of patches/cha...

Re: Focusrite Clarett now on USB! Will it work on Linux?

@nashimi That would be interesting to know any URL where it is described what exactly those "(to utilize) right settings," would be? I use an i24 Scarlett and I'd love to be quiet when going below 5.3ms :-) (now this thread that started originally only off-topic in this forum has become a...

Re: [solved] mixbus, can record but cannot play back recording.

Well, in a way the manual is already quite "fixed", though what's not easy to fix is the ability of us to remember various specificities in too many DAWs when we hop from one to another while wishing the basejump cinetics on arrival will magically adapt the manual and the soft to our habit...

@tavasti

Just in case it may help, the list is called "what.txt" and included in the NewUpdates.zip you can directly download there:
http://www.airwindows.com/wp-content/up ... pdates.zip (well yes that's a ~50Mb size DL so I also wish the list were directly online too but still... ;-)

Re: New Dan Worrall video about saturation

Yes, it's one of those videos in which the techniques shown are actually more important than the device being demonstrated. My opinion as well :-) Now,if the OP wants video and tools (free) about the same subject I think the ones on Airwindows are better in content though I'd admit the voice of Chr...

Hello rudolfs.bundulis, Is there limited "grace period number" for testing? I mean I have been renewing a few times the beta activation (v4.1.9 build 1) without trouble but recently for the new attempts it doesn't work anymore? precisely I tried and failed with these two methods: 1. the us...

And I've also decided to become One-with-the-Universe so in order to achieve that I have dropped all guitar playing on guitars that are not made by me. This is cheating. Darn! I'm slain! (oops, two major English Litt. masters [each side of pond] being quoted in the two previous lines, should I pain...
