Thanks! Everything is working now. Dexed would beep after the rebuild, but fluidsynth was silent. Rebuilding the .med file with a midi import and setup fixed it. Here are some notes : To recap, jackd was crashing with signal 12. Audacity was run independently from muse3, and the same thing happened....

Hi, I am using Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya x86_64. I new to sequencers and linux audio. After a reboot, jack is not running in the bg, and I’m not starting it elsewhere.
