The popping is on the onboard audio (ALC887-VD).
I turned down my webcam audio input, it's the only one that shows up in the settings. I still get the popping sound.
I don't have anything plugged to the audio in.
I'm just using the onboard audio. I'm not using the HDMI audio.

I didn't install it, so I'm not sure it's even on my machine. When I check the software manager for "jack" there are loads of packages "jackd", "jackd2" etc, which package should I install?
