Re: Ultralite AVB
@shellwalker: With wrl's patch and 1.3.5+626 I get distortion after ~ 2minutes, depending on load. Can anyone use the webinterface with chromium based browsers on Xorg? It seems to be a problem with a deprecated function (window.onupdateready) when using http instead of https, which the ultralite do...

Re: Ultralite AVB
Well, actually I totally forgot that windows doesn't use class compliant mode, but macOS does, right?
wrl's patch doesn't work for me, as well.

Re: Ultralite AVB
I've attached a PKGBUILD + srcfiles for linux-next as in AUR with wrl's patch included. Just unzip and run makepkg. Builds fine. Didn't boot with next-210112, 210114 boots ok. I could also attach the packages, but I don't know if it's cool to put ~130 MB here. Some thought for debugging: Can someone...

Re: Ultralite AVB
I've updated the first post, reflecting some of the things we all found out in the meantime. Send a PM if I forgot something important or otherwise useful. This thread's information should be compressed in a wiki somewhere... A little bit OT, but the main reason I came back here: Didn't need to conf...

Re: Ultralite AVB
How do you deal with that ? I put something like this in autostart or run it with qjackctl just before I start jack: #!/bin/bash if [ $(curl -s 192.168.1.xx/datastore/ext/configuredRate| jq '.value') != 44100 ]; then curl --data 'json={"value":44100}' 192.168.1.xx/datastore/avb/0001f2fffe...

Re: Ultralite AVB
Unfortunately after starting jackd the Ultralite forgets my enabled EQ in the mixer. AFAIR, it's better to set the sample-rate in a script as well, since the interface keeps it's settings/presets somehow sample-rate specific. For me, the Interface changes samplerate to 192kHz when booting up a USB-...

Re: Ultralite AVB
v1.3.5+626 is out. http://motu.com/techsupport/technotes/firmwarechangelog/ Implemented low bandwidth mode when both computer input and output channel count is set to 32 or lower. This will help USB compatibility with x99 chipset based systems. Hope that it solves something even without using x99 ch...

Re: Ultralite AVB
The delay when switching samplerates seems to be manly due to the internal mixer reinitialization taking so long, so AVB won't help here. I had the hope that the interface handles it's own settings different when used with AVB. I'm wondering if there's anything in the AVB-spec which deals with samp...

Re: Ultralite AVB
Started development of an AVB driver for my intel i210 ethernet controller. Today i was successfully playing/recording my first 8 in/ 8 out AVB stream with my 16A. :D Cool. I've compiled your patches in already, just have to find the time to update the interface to 1.3+ and try it out. Any chance t...

Re: Ultralite AVB
I just had a peek at http://motu.com/avb/index.html#avb-down ... -resources and saw that MOTU downgraded the "latest" firmware on that site to 1.2.9+479.

Re: Ultralite AVB
Also, can anyone explain what exactly the host safety buffer is? Does it have to be related to the buffer size set in jack, or is it completely independent? https://cdn-data.motu.com/manuals/avb/MOTU%20Pro%20Audio%20Driver%20Read%20Me.pdf This setting allows you to fine tune host latency. Looking at this thread http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=65037 , there might even be other layers of problems or misconfigurations, like powersaving in particular, even on windows. Have you guys with the new firmware tried setting (usb host controllers) tunables of powertop to...

Re: Ultralite AVB
Just found out that I can switch the web interface into a mode where I can adjust the host buffer size and host safety offset. Via JSON, there are parameters like: "host/os":"mac", "host/win/buffer_sizes_1x":"16:32:64:128:256:512:1024", "host/win/safety_o...

Re: Ultralite AVB
Ah Ok. I do not have any buffer setting adjustment in my web interface, 1.3.4. But in the screenshot there's TouchConsole  Just found out that there's "/ext/obank/4/ch/63" via json. Counting from 0 that's 64 channels at least at some point internally. http://motu.com/techsupport/tec...
