Re: Linux Plugins (LADSPA, DSSI, LV2, VST)
Just downloaded the whole suite. Looks awesome and I'm gonna try them all out. Looked at some videos but it hard to see how you route everything from the sampler. I use Reaper For Linux and it seems to work great so far. Lot to learn, but I'm getting there eventually  Don't forget to read docu...

TXwX Software Sampler - anyone using it in Linux?
Hi, Installed https://www.tx16wx.com/download/ but I get two errors when starting Reaper. Created .so file via LinVST before that I copied the DLL file to my VST folder. I know about Linuxsampler, but I wanna give this one a test. Anyone got it to work with Reaper For Linux? (also posted on Reaper f...

Re: LinReaper, anyone use it? Need some help
What is in ~/.local/reaper ? A wine prefix contains dosdevices, drive_c, system.reg, userdef.reg, user.reg. Was there any console output when you ran: tobbe@homestudio:~$ WINEPREFIX=~/.local/reaper/ wine64 regsvr32 wineasio I pointed WINEPREFIX to LinReaper installation directory. Is that wrong? I'...

Re: LinReaper, anyone use it? Need some help
I don't know the specifics of LinReaper... But I suspect that it's installed reaper in a different wine prefix? If so you need to run WINEPREFIX=/path/to/wineprefix wine64 regsvr32 wineasio. Wineasio needs to be registered in each prefix, it's not enough to just add wineasiol.dll.so to the wine ins...

Re: Problem with fonts and knobs VST plugin
I don't know the answer to your problem :) Is there some console output from wine if you run it from a terminal window? Maybe some missing fonts? But just in case you don't know there is a native linux version of reaper around: https://wiki.cockos.com/wiki/index.php/REAPER_for_Linux, it's officiall...

Problem with fonts and knobs VST plugin
Hi, Hope I ask this in the right place. I run KXStudio repos (Linux Lite) with Wine and wineasio in Reaper. Works flawless. I have a VST Plugin called ChordMaster but the fonts doesn't show right, and I'm missing some knobs I believe. I added some screenshots. I looked here for "font issues&quo...

Re: VST instruments via Carla Patchbay and recording
This sounds similar to something I've encountered before... Do you ever hear the bass? Are you sure you see the audio meter moving and not the MIDI meter moving? If your answer is yes to either, what I will suggest might not be your problem. BUT: it seems that you need to "pin" the connec...

Re: VST instruments via Carla Patchbay and recording
Thank you for your answer. I forgot to mention that I add a miditrack and then Carla Patchbay to it. But nothing gets recorded. Maybe it doesn't work with midi or I miss something. https://youtu.be/oZ_2PaBmCCU I watch this but it's hard to see the connections in Catia. He's using Ardour and recordin...

VST instruments via Carla Patchbay and recording
Hi, Can I record VST instruments (wine installed) via Carla Patchbay in lets say Ardour/Harrison Mixbus? I found a great free bassguitar http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?plugin=4Front_Bass&id=190 the other day and I can see the volume meter moving but when I hit record it stops. Do I need to...
